How to fix No SIM card error on your Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (easy steps)

First solution: Reboot your phone (soft reset).

Network errors can also be triggered by minor software glitches that occur randomly on your phone. If you just encounter the No SIM card error on your phone without making any changes on its settings or so, then most likely it’s just a random network glitch. More often than not, minor software issues like this are rectified by a soft reset or device restart. So if you haven’t restarted your phone yet, then you must do so.   1. Press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons simultaneously for up to 45 seconds.

  2. Then use the insertion/removal tool or a paperclip to remove the card tray from the top edge of the device with the display facing up. Just insert the removal tool into the provided slot until the tray pops out.
  3. Gently pull the tray out.

Third solution: Reset network settings on your Samsung Note 8.

When you reset the networks settings, all data connections on your device are restored to the original values or factory defaults.
