It’s no secret that we’re inching towards the Google Pixel 4 release. In the meantime, two new video leaks have given us our best look of the smartphone yet, showing the phone from pretty much every angle you can imagine. The leak originates from a Malaysian retailer who also revealed a White version of the bigger Pixel 4 XL. The videos further show the rear camera arrangement that has been rumored for quite some time now.
Among the major upgrades on the Pixel 4 is the brand new display with a 90 Hz refresh rate, similar to the display from the OnePlus 7 Pro. The Pixel 4 lineup will also bring Soli based gesture features as well as a Face Unlock feature for the first time on Pixel phones.
Google appears to be going for the premium look this time, with a completely glossy panel on the back while the sides have a matte finish. The back also accommodates the standard Google logo which we’ve seen on older Pixel devices as well.
The videos don’t reveal much else, but this is sufficient to go with before the big launch by Google. Given that retailers are already accessing the device, it appears like the launch isn’t too far away from now.
Even though the Android 10 update has already begun rolling out to devices, the update didn’t introduce any radical changes. Perhaps Google wants us to wait for the Pixel 4 lineup to learn about what’s new. From what we’ve gathered so far, it seems like the Pixel 4 and the Pixel 4 XL could push the envelope further for mobile technology.
