7 Best Dual SIM Phone In 2019

Wouldn’t it be cool if you’re smartphone would allow you to switch between two networks in just a few seconds? A lot of phones aren’t capable of doing this, partly because of regulations and the telecommunication oligarchy in North America, but there are still a couple of phones out there that are able to hold two SIM cards. This will allow you to switch between two networks when, say, one network doesn’t have good coverage in a specific area, but another does. Dual SIM smartphones are also excellent devices for travel — you can keep your main SIM active and working in the US, but when you cross the border and lose good coverage, you can switch to a network that works best in whatever area you are overseas.

If you want a high-end phone that you can use two SIM cards with, be sure to follow along below — we’ve got a list of our favorite Dual SIM phone for 2019. Let’s dive right in.

OnePlus 6T

First up is the OnePlus 6T. This smartphone is a recent launch, and it’s one of the more higher-end smartphones with Dual SIM capability.  With the OnePlus 6, you’re getting a massive 6.41-inch display with Full HD+ resolution in an Optic AMOLED display.

Watching media on this device is fantastic — you’ll get crisp, clear clarity in your TV shows, your movies, regular video, you name it. It can literally fly through tasks as well — you get a Snapdragon 845 processor and choices up to a whopping 10GB of RAM. With that much memory, you’ll be able to run multiple apps and multitask like nobody’s business. It comes with a large 3,700mAh battery as well.

Samsung Galaxy S10+

The Samsung Galaxy S10+ comes up next, and is actually one of our favorite phones with dual SIM support. This is one of the best that you can buy today for daily use. That’s because it not only comes with some seriously powerful hardware, but it comes with a large battery that is sure to keep your phone alive well into the night — a whole 4,100mAh, actually.

Once you add a second SIM card in the dual-SIM slot, you can use the Samsung Galaxy S10+ almost anywhere you go, with the phone able to switch between networks that has the best cell reception. Of course, one of the aspects that everybody is talking about with this phone is the “Cinematic Infinity Display”, which brings unmatched clarity for media of all sorts. On top of that, it comes with a top tier camera for taking cutting edge photos, too.

iPhone XS

The iPhone XS comes up next on our countdown. Sure, we’ve shown you some great Android phones today, but in a list of the best dual SIM phones out there, you can’t “not” mention the iPhone XS. This phone has some top tier hardware in it, allowing you to fly through almost any task, app, or game. With the big, beautiful display it has, you can’t go wrong with the crisp media detail that it gives you either.

Of course, the iPhone XS also comes with dual-SIM support, with a nano-SIM and eSIM. The eSIM is actually a global specification that enables remote SIM provisioning of any mobile device. At the moment, only 10 countries support Apple’s eSIMs, but that number is quickly growing, allowing you to take the phone on the go abroad with little hassle.

iPhone XS Max

The iPhone XS Max is worth a quick mention as well. It’s got a lot of the same going for it as the iPhone XS, but the iPhone XS Max actually has a bigger screen, and an even bigger battery. A bigger battery is important for accommodating the dual-SIM support, if you plan to use it, at least. It allows you to get through your day without having to plug it in the charger.

It actually has the same dual-SIM support as the iPhone XS, giving you the nano-SIM and eSIM support. Apple makes it pretty easy to switch between carriers when you’re using both of these. When you’remaking a call, just use the Phone app, and then you can switch between carriers by tapping the current one directly from the keypad as long as you have iOS 12 because the dual-SIM feature isn’t supported in previous versions of iOS.

Huawei P30 Pro

Huawei has traditionally offered Dual SIM phones, and the P30 Pro is no different. It’s got the Dual SIM tray for your choice of two (compatible) networks. On the hardware side of things, you get a massive 6.47-inch display. It has a really good resolution as well — a whole 2,340 x 1,080, so you still get crisp clear clarity here.

In terms of processing power, you get Huawei’s own Kirin 980 processor backed by 8GB of RAM — that said, you’ll be able to fly through apps with this setup. Not only that, but you get a tri-lens camera, bringing you a whole 40 megapixels of detail. It’s one hell of a phone!

Xiaomi Pocophone F1

Coming up near the bottom on our countdown, but certainly not the least, we’re looking at Xiaomi’s very own Pocophone F1. If you’re looking for a cheap Android flagship with top tier hardware and dual-SIM support, look no further than the Pocophone F1. And when we say this “budget” phone features latest flagship hardware out there, we really mean it! It has a Snapdragon 845 processor, as well as 6 GB of memory and 64 GB of expandable storage in the base model.

For the price of the Pocophone F1, the battery might surprise you as well — it’s got a 4,000mAh unit. The only thing that this display doesn’t have is NFC support, and it does have a fairly standard or normal IPS LCD display with a camera notch, rounded corners, and small borders. Still, with dual-SIM support, this is one you can’t go wrong with.

iPhone XR

The iPhone XR is worth a mention as well. If you don’t have the cash to spend on a big flagship phone like the iPhone XS Max or Galaxy S10+, the iPhone XR is a nice middle ground. You still get some powerful hardware, as well as a big, 6.1-inch display. It’s got the Face ID module still, and really, the only thing that you would notice that has changed on the surface is a single lens camera instead of the dual lens.

That said, the iPhone XR does have dual-SIM support, actually using a nano-SIM and eSIM setup. It works the same as the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, but is essentially just a much cheaper package.

Closing

So, which one of these Dual SIM phones should you pick up for yourself? We recommend going with either the OnePlus 6T or the Galaxy S10+ — both are high-end phones that have just recently launched, and you can’t go wrong with them because of their sheer quality. But, if you’re not a fan of either brand, the Huawei P30 Pro is a great choice as well.
