T-Mobile Launching the Galaxy A10e and A20 on July 26

Following the lead of AT&T and Boost Mobile, T-Mobile has announced the arrival of the Galaxy A10e and the Galaxy A20. Both mid-rangers will be available for purchase via the Magenta network come next Friday i.e. July 26.

The Galaxy A10e will be available at $0 down and 24 monthly installments of $7.30. The off contract pricing for this device is set at $175. The Galaxy A20, on the other hand, will be sold at $0 down and $10 per month, with an off contract price of $250. Given the price tag, we expect both phones to be popular on T-Mobile’s shelves.

While both smartphones are low-cost offerings, the Galaxy A20 is the better equipped of the two. It packs a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display and a Exynos 7884 octa-core chipset. Other features include a rear mounted fingerprint scanner, dual rear cameras (13MP + 5MP), Android 9.0 Pie with One UI, and a 4,000 mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging.

The Galaxy A10e is the smaller version of the Galaxy A10 that was launched earlier this year. This means the display size has been shrunk from 6.2-inches to 5.83-inches. This uses a LCD panel, so there won’t be any of that AMOLED goodness here. It runs the same Exynos 7884 octa-core chipset, has 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a single 8MP rear camera, Android 9.0 Pie with One UI, and a 3,000 mAh battery.

While T-Mobile is officially the second major carrier after AT&T to launch the two handsets, there’s word that Verizon is also planning to launch these handsets, perhaps under its attractive prepaid plans.
