How To Fix The Huawei Nova 4 Won’t Turn On Issue

One major issue that you don’t want to occur on your mobile device is when it does not turn on. This can be a frustrating experience especially if you have important files stored in the phone. Most of the time this problem is caused by a faulty hardware component which will then need a trip to the service center. There are also instances when this can be caused by a software glitch which can be fixed by following the troubleshooting steps listed below.

Charge the phone

The first thing you will need to do in this case is to make sure that the phone battery is fully charged by following the steps listed below.

  • Clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure that any dirt or debris stuck in this port is removed.
  • Fully charge the phone using its wall charger.
  • In case the phone does not charge then try using a different charging cord and wall charger. You should also try charging the phone from a computer USB port in case charging using the wall charger fails to work.

Once the battery has been fully charged try turning on the phone. If it still does not turn on then proceed with the additional troubleshooting steps listed below.

Perform a soft reset

Try to refresh the phone software to eliminate the corrupted temporary data from the phone. This is usually done on an unresponsive device however it should also work in this case as it will refresh the phone software. You can do this by simply restarting the device.

  • Press and hold the Power and Volume down key for up to 45 seconds.
  • Wait as the device restarts.
