S10 5G won’t wireless charge fix #1: Turn on wireless charging
If your Galaxy S10 5G won’t wireless charge for some reason, there’s a number of troubleshooting steps that you must do. The first of such steps is to make sure that a basic thing is done: enable wireless charging. By default, wireless charging feature should run automatically once you put your phone on an active wireless charger. However, if you recently tweaked some settings, it’s possible that you may have accidentally turned off wireless charging. This may be the reason why your S10 wireless charging has stopped working. To check, simply head over to Settings > Device care > Battery > Battery settings (three-dot icon at the upper right) > Enable fast wireless charging.

If the issue is about Wireless Powershare, which means that your S10 can’t seem to charge another wireless device like your Galaxy Buds, you should first check that Wireless Powershare is enabled. Unlike wireless charging, Wireless Powershare must be turned on first in order to start working. Make sure that you enable it first before charging another device. To do that, just pull down the notification bar from the top of the screen, look for Wireless Powershare icon and tap it to enable it.

Placing your phone too close to the edge of the charging pod may prevent it from getting power. If your device charges normally, you can bet a bad app is causing it. Because safe mode can’t help you pinpoint exactly the app, you must use the method of elimination to identify it. This is how it’s done:
- Boot to safe mode.
- Check for the problem.
- Once you’ve confirmed that a third party app is to blame, you can start uninstalling apps individually. We suggest that you begin with the most recent ones you added.
