A 1TB microSD memory card can set you back a good chunk of change, but you can put about any size inside the Moto G7, as low as 8GB; however, 1TB is the maximum size that you can fit in the smartphone.

Not sure what microSD memory card to pick up for the Moto G7? Here are five that will work excellent with the smartphone. Let’s dive right in.

SanDisk 400GB Ultra

Coming up first on our countdown, we’re looking at the SanDisk Ultra, one of the best and highest capacity cards that you can get for the Moto G7.  There’s a whole 400GB of space in this card, which gives you plenty of space for photos, videos, apps, documents, and more.

SanDisk actually rates this one for shooting 4K video, so it’ll work flawlessly with most modern smartphones as well, though the Moto G7 itself isn’t capable of filming in 4K.

If you want, you can actually mesh your Moto G7 with the Android system, too — the speeds are there to support the speed needed to handle apps. And with a 10-year protection warranty, you don’t have to worry about problems with this card, ever.

SanDisk Extreme PLUS U3

It’s worth taking a look at the SanDisk Extreme PLUS U3, too. This, of course, has a variety of similarities to all of the other microSD cards on our list; however, it isn’t a bad choice for your Moto G7. SanDisk says this microSD card in particular was built for extreme conditions.

SanDisk says that it’s perfect for high-heat areas, and even around water. If you drop your phone in a sink or in water somewhere, you can expect your microSD card to stay in perfect condition.

It has 64GB of memory, and read speeds sit at around 95MB per second while write speeds sit at 90MB per second. One of the unique things about this one is that it comes with software recovery software, in the event that you accidentally delete a file.

Samsung Pro+

Next up, we’re looking at the Samsung Pro+. We’ve shown you a handful from SanDisk, but Samsung actually makes some excellent microSD cards on the cheap, and with top performance, too.

This one in particular actually has a whopping 128GB of storage, giving you plenty of space for apps, photos, and videos. You’ll be able to record endless amounts of 4K video with this one. Transfer rates are great in the Samsung Pro+, with 95MB/s and write speeds at 90MB/s.

Samsung Evo Select

Don’t want to drop a ton of money on a microSD card like the Samsung Pro+? Professional cards like that can be pretty expensive, and isn’t something that you necessarily want for photos and videos exclusively.

That said, the EVO Select is nice because you still get a whopping 128GB of storage inside of this card. This one is equipped with some better data transfer rates — 100MB per second for read and 90MB per second for write.

There is a ton of storage in this one, with Samsung saying that you can fit almost 12,000 songs or 6 hours of optimized 4K footage. Or, you can fit almost 30,000 photos on it. You can easily mesh this with your system to support app use as well. There are actually options to get this all the way up to 512GB of storage, and options lower than 128GB, too.

Samsung Evo PLUS

And finally, coming in as last up on our list, we have Samsung’s EVO Plus line of microSD cards. These are still excellent choices for adding storage to your  phone, but at a budget level price point.

The one downside to the Evo Plus is that data transfer speeds are a lot lower than the rest of the cards on this list — you still get 100MB per second read, but your write speeds take quite a hit with the Evo PLUS at only 60MB per second. It should still be able to keep up with meshing this with system storage, however.
