Troubleshooting Galaxy S9 with Play Store error 905

The main purpose of doing these procedures on your phone is to figure it out the real issue and resolve the problem as easy as possible. These are the things that you should do:

First Solution: Perform Soft Reset

Like many android devices nowadays the Galaxy S9 is not free of issues and vulnerable to software issues. So, before you do any troubleshooting procedures it is imperative to eliminate first the suspicion that a glitch in the system is causing the issue. Since S9 does not have a removable battery, so, all you need to is do the so-called simulated battery procedure or soft reset. It refreshes phone’s memory and reload all services running in the background. Here’s how:

  1. Press and hold the volume down button and don’t release it.
  2. While holding down the volume button, press and hold the power key as well.
  3. Keep both keys held down together for 10 seconds or until the S9 logo shows on the screen.

Once the phone has successfully rebooted, open the Play Store and download any app to see if the error 905 still shows up. If it still does, then move on to the next solution.

Follow these steps:

  1. Open Settings app.

  4. Select Show system apps.

Here’s how you remove your Google account from your phone:
