Orange Holiday SIM

We really like what's offered in the Orange Holiday SIM card as well. Orange is one of the premier telecom companies in the EU, providing 4G LTE coverage to phone across 30 or more EU countries.

There's a whole 10GB of data to use while in the Czech Republic, and on top of that there's also two hours of talk time, and then another 1,000 SMS messages to use in addition to your data. You can refill as needed, and even add additional days to your plan, since this one is supposed to expire 14 days after activation.

UK Europe ThreeUK SIM Card

The ThreeUK UK-Europe SIM card is up next, and is one of our favorite options because of how close it is to Orange's Holiday SIM card. That's because it actually comes with 12GB of data, 3000 minutes in talk time and 3000 messages. There are actually calling and text features here, whereas many international SIM cards are going data-only. That means you don't have to rely on social messaging apps for your communication.

ThreeUK says that this SIM card can only be used with smartphone -- it won't work with other devices, such as a tablet. Additionally, you can't video stream with the card, nor can you use it for tethering or mobile hotspot purposes.

Mobal Europe Plus SIM

Secondly, we have the Mobal Europe Plus SIM. There's 1GB of data included with your SIM card, but after that's used up, you'll have to pay for each 1GB used, which sits at a rate of $10 per gig. Talk and text rates are additional cost, and sit at 30¢ per minute rates in all countries, though rates are cheaper when calling to the US or Canada. However, incoming calls and text messages are free.

Payment isn't necessarily the best, requiring a credit or debit card to be attached to the SIM. Then, when the end of the period comes, you're automatically billed. That can end up being pretty expensive, but should still sit at cheaper than roaming.

Internet with legs Trio

ThreeUK is up next again, but this time with their Internet with legs Trio SIM card. It's not as good as the previous ThreeUK card, being primarily a data-only SIM card. That means you have to rely on your data for a lot of communication, such as through platforms like Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp for text and call features. You get 4G LTE data here as well, which keeps things moving quickly.

Additionally, this SIM card only works with unlocked GSM phones, so you'll want to make sure your phone is carrier-unlocked before attempting to use an external SIM like this. It comes with just 3GB of data to use while in the Czech Republic, and over 30 other popular EU destinations; however, you can top off your data as needed.

Keepgo Global Lifetime SIM Card

Keepgo's Global Lifetime SIM Card is last up on our countdown, but is a great choice for those that need something that they can rely on internationally. This one is another data-only SIM card, this one has a lot of similarities to the Mobal SIM card. It does come with better payment and easy refill options. Like the Mobal, the SIM card comes with 1GB of data right out of the gate, but then you pay per 1GB afterwards, at a $10 per rate.

Being a data-only SIM card, you'll have to rely on your data for communication more than normal, such as through Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp for calling and text features.

Verdict

Here we've shown you five of the best international SIM card for traveling to the Czech Republic; however, the Orange Holiday SIM is easily your best bet. It provides you with both data, as well as talk and text support. That's something that a lot of SIM cards just don't do, unfortunately. And that's what makes the Orange Holiday SIM so special.
