5 Replies to “How to fix Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge that’s stuck in bootloop after Android Nougat update [Troubleshooting Guide]”

  1. I have tried everything mentioned above and nothing worked. I think it’s a scam. Samsung is forcing these updates on the phones and breaking them intentionally. Recently Apple was in the news messing with older models batteries. These cell phone companies want to make billions of dollars by these criminal activities under the cover up of system updates. There is no other reason why a phone works well for 2 years and then in the third year it gets messed up.

  2. hey why not your company change this fucking update mode hole time just reboot the phone what the hell is this i am wasting and missing too much my work for this update all your trick and tips wasting with in some time its frizz gain and and launch new update program if your company want we still used Samsung phones

  3. Galaxy S6… tried reloading the firmware via Odin, which was successful, but still stuck in this same boot loop. First it would reboot a bunch of times; now it’s just frozen on “Installing system update.” Really at a loss for what to do next. Any thoughts? Thanks!

  4. Thank you so much. My phone has been stuck in “boot loop” for 12hours since I updated my phone. I didn’t even know what boot loop was till I read this. Did the soft reset and my phone has now come back on. Thank you 🙂

  5. I’ve tried everything here including a factory reset and my S6 is still stuck in boot loops. This has been happening for over 3 months, before and after the Nougat update. I use it completely normally and don’t do anything intense on it. Suddenly it crashes, usually with some weird screen glitch, then begins the loop. I’ve tried everything including trying to reinstall the stock firmware but I was unsuccessful in that 3 times. Is there anything I can do?
