Now, here are the things you need to do to see if this problem is a minor or a serious one…

  1. Make sure you’ve set the alarm properly.
  2. Test the vibration motor to see if it still works.

To check if you’ve setup the silent alarm properly, open the Fitbit app, choose Account, select your Fitbit device, then choose Silent Alarm. That should tell you immediately if you’ve set the alarm to go off at your expected time. You may also try to create other alarms and see if they work. If that’s not the problem however, then you have to check if it’s a hardware-related issue.

Clip your Charge 3 to the charging cable, and make sure the cable is plugged into a USB port on your computer. Your tracker should vibrate when you connect the cable. If it doesn’t vibrate, then the motor might be defective. You should bring it back to the store so the technician can further check it for you.
