Adding a microSD card to your Galaxy Note9 is simple and it can be done under two minutes. If your SD card won’t fit or too big, that means you’re using the standard sized SD card. Make sure to use a microSD card before proceeding.

  1. Prepare the ejector or ejection pin. This is the metal pin that comes with the phone when you first unboxed it. If you lost or misplaced it, you can use a paper clip instead.
  2. Using the ejection pin, carefully insert it into the hole on the SIM card or SD card tray.  The pin must be inserted perpendicular to the hole to avoid damaging it. This hole is located on top of the phone. Be sure not to pick the microphone hole which is also located on top.
  3. Once the SIM card or SD card tray pops out, gently pull it out.
  4. Place your microSD card to the tray.
