Galaxy A7 Moisture Detected Error When Battery Gets Low

Problem: I’ve been experiencing this problem month ago. My phone got drained to zero percent when my battery life reaches to 30 percent it got hotter and drained so fast. And moreover, i have to rush charging my phone because when it totally turned down i cant charge or wait for a day to charge because it notified that there is a moisture detection which its been a month ago since it got soaked or splashed from heavy rain. I can charge my phone without moisture detection if it still 40 percent above when turned off but if less than 40 percent and charging it while my phone is turned off it says there is a moisture detection. Hope you have solution on this problem.

Solution: If this problem occurs whenever the battery charge gets low then there’s a possibility that this is already caused by a faulty hardware component. The fact that it got soaked in water previously might indicate that this faulty component has suffered from water damage. The best troubleshooting step that you can do right now is to eliminate the possibility that a software glitch is causing the problem by doing a factory reset. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset. Once the reset is complete do not install any apps in your phone yet. Try to check first if the issue still occurs. In case it does then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

Galaxy A7 Is Unresponsive After Software Update

Problem: After doing a software update overnight the screen was unresponsive. I cleared the cache and then finally resorted to a factory reset. When phone came up screen was still unresponsive. Battery is currently at 85%. I bought this before I left Australia, live in Panama now. I had to replace the screen four months ago after dropping it, but no issues. Last major update the phone wouldn’t boot at all, had to drain battery. It’s a pain in the a** getting to the boot menu so unsure on OS but it was doing an update to latest last night. Thanks for your help!

Solution: If the issue still occurs even after a factory reset then this might already be caused by a faulty display assembly or some other component that is not working properly. The best thing that you can do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

Galaxy A7 No Longer Charges

Problem: My A7 no longer charges. Two nights ago after being on the charger all night (with the factory charger and cable), it only showed 50% battery in the morning. Tried restarting (hard and soft resets) with no improvement. I used it all day yesterday. The battery went down to 49% pretty quickly, but stayed there through the late afternoon at which time it started going down. Eventually it hit 1% and the phone turned itself off. I put it on the charger again all last night and this morning it has 0% battery. How can I get my phone’s battery to charge properly again? I’ve had this phone for just over 1 month. Bought in the US but live in the UK so returning it for warranty will be difficult.

Related Problem: Phone  was working fine (had not been turned on all day), plugged it in with factory cord and block, and got message that battery was too hot for charging! Tried restarting, and turning off fast charge. Did not help. Waited half hour, tried again. Phone battery went down to 0 and turned off. Waited another hour, still cannot charge phone, same message appears. Used same block and cord on another Samsung, no problem.

Solution: The first thing you need to do in this case is to make sure that the charging port of the phone is free from any dirt or debris. Clean the port using a can of compressed air. Once the port is clean try charging the phone using its wall charger. If it doesn’t charge then try using a different charging cord and wall charger. You should also check if the phone can charge from a computer USB port.

In case the above steps fails to fix the problem then you should have the phone checked at a service center.
