S9 Network Not Registered Error When Making Calls

Problem: Hi, I wonder if you could help me with my phone. For the past two months I had no problem with my S9, but recently it annoys me by keep saying sometimes network not registered or with out show me something simply end the call when I try to call to someone. I did everything that i could possibly do. Like change my SIM card, reset to factory and so on but no difference.what should i do please help me. For your information I can use my data and text message without any doubt. My Android version is 8.0.

Solution: Have you tried checking if the issue occurs in one specific area only? If it does then the problem could be caused by an issue with the network in that area. In case the problem occurs wherever you are then this could already be caused by a faulty hardware component. The best thing you can do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

S9 Not Showing Call Logs

Problem: Please help me. I received a call from my ex partner which I answered and it lasted for 35 seconds. I have an app called call recorder and I have it set to record all her calls. The call shows on there and you can hear the conversation but the problem is it is not showing on my recent call log. My current partner now thinks I’ve deleted the call log to try and hide something. I haven’t but have no explanation as to why it isn’t there. This has caused a big problem for me. I have a galaxy S9 and this has never happened before. Please help me try to explain how this could be possible.

Solution: Your phone should automatically record the call logs whenever you get a call. This log can be deleted manually and if it is deleted then it won’t show in your phone. If you haven’t deleted the call log then try checking if an app you downloaded is causing the problem by starting the phone in Safe Mode. Try making calls in this mode and let someone call you as well. If the call log is present then the problem is most likely caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.

In case the issue still occurs even in Safe Mode then you will have to backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

S9 Invalid MMI Code Error When Making Calls

Problem: hello im having a problem with my S9. i tried all the ways you said except the service center part because i dont have my receipt anymore. i tried to communicate with them but they say i need to present my receipt to fix my phone but i don’t have it anymore . so i’m looking for help and i hope you can help me. here’s my case.. i can’t make call and text but i can connect to my data connection.. once i dial any number in my contacts it says “connection problem or invalid mmi code” . pls help me . another case is when i switch my data connection to the other sim the other network close. i don’t know what to do pls. help me

Solution: An Invalid MMI ( Man Machine Interface) code will usually occur when you are trying to access certain carrier features by dialing the code using your phone. If it happens when you are making a normal call or when trying to send out a text message then there’s a possibility that this is caused by a software glitch. If this is the case then follow the troubleshooting steps listed below.

  • Restart the phone. Sometimes this will fix the problem as the phone software will be refreshed in the process.
  • Start the phone in Safe Mode. Does the issue occur in this mode? If it doesn’t then it could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
  • Try using a different SIM card.
  • Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

S9 Emergency Calls Only Error

Problem: I have an Samsung S9. It keeps jumping into “Emergency calls only” (although it isn’t in there) and won’t let me place phone calls. What can I do to stop this or how can I disconnect this feature? It is very hard to get it to stop once it is in there.  Thank you so much. I am learning a lot from your site.

Solution: The first thing you will need to do in this case is to check if the issue occurs in only one location. If it does then there’s a possibility that there is a network problem in that area. If this is the case then you will need to contact your carrier regarding this matter.

If the issue occurs regardless of location then proceed with the troubleshooting steps listed below.

  • Remove the SIM card. Restart the phone then reinsert the SIM card.
  • Check if the issue occurs in Safe Mode. If it doesn’t then the problem could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
  • Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.
  • Try using a different SIM card.

If the above steps fails to fix the problem then you should bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
