J3 Battery Is Not Completely Charging
Problem: I am having problem with my samsung J3 battery, sometimes the charging percent gets stuck to 70-75% only and it’s on fast charging mode I already less the brightness closed all running apps clean the device and put the power saver on to save some battery life but still the charging is still the same I am using original and brand new charger and cord. also, another facing problem is I have my back up power bank branded with original cord as well, every time I am using it instead of charging, my mobile is not charging but the status is charging but from 20% down to 9% I don’t know what is the problem can somebody help and tell me what’s wrong with my mobile??
Solution: The first thing you will want to do in this case is to check if dirt or debris stuck in the charging port of the phone is causing the problem. Clean the charging port of the phone then check if the issue still occurs. You should also try using a different charging cord and wall charger to eliminate the possibility of the current charger causing the problem.
If the issue persists then the next step is to check if the problem is caused by a software glitch. To do this you will need to backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete immediately check if the phone will fully charge.
If the above steps fail to fix the problem then this problem could already be caused by a faulty battery. You will need to have this checked at a service center if this is the case.
J3 Gets Hot When Charging
Problem: Hi, my J3 got really hot while charging. A message told me it’s overheated and it do some steps to stop that. It would turn down the light and stop charging. The usb port was really burning hot but after 5 min it was OK again. Now after 20 h it’s still not working. The phone have no other problems. I used the oem cable, tried another cable and did the reboot.
Solution: If your phone gets very hot while charging then it’s very likely that a short circuit is causing the problem. To fix this try cleaning the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air then use a different charging cord and wall charger to charge the phone. If the phone still gets hot then immediately disconnect it from the charger. Do not charge the phone unless it has already been checked and repaired at a service center.
J3 Is Not Fast Charging
Problem: Hey so I’m a little concerned. I have a Samsung J3 and the charging is becoming an issue. 1 it won’t fast charge Any more and 2 it has to be unplugged and plugged in 5 or 6 times before it says hour and a half or whatever. If I don’t do it it goes on slow charging and will take 6 to 7 hours for a full charge. I’d just like to keep this phone going !! Thanks in advance
Solution: It’s very likely that the problem is caused by dirt stuck in the charging port of the phone or a damaged charging cord. To fix this try cleaning the charging port of the phone first using a can of compressed air. Check if the problem still occurs. If it does then try using a different charging cord.
In case the above steps fails to fix the problem then this is most likely caused by a damaged phone charging port assembly. I recommend that you have this checked at a service center.
J3 Stuck In No Command Screen After Software Update
Problem: Hi, Hoping you can help. I installed an update today and when the phone first loaded it froze before I could unlock the screen. It then rebooted and now I have a blue screen with the “No Command” error. I’ve tried doing the hard battery disconnect (up,down, home and power) but keeps reverting to no command. Tried getting to the boot menu to hard reset but nope…
Solution: It looks like the update might have corrupted the phone software. What you should do right now is to access the recovery mode then do a factory reset. Take note that this will erase your phone data.
- Power off your phone.
- Press and hold the Volume Up button and then press and hold the Home key. While holding both, press and hold the Power key.
- When the Android logo appears on the screen, release all three keys. It may take a minute before the Android recovery screen to appear.
- While on Android recovery screen, use the Volume Down key to highlight options, in this case, highlight the option ‘wipe data/factory reset.’
- Press the Power key to choose the highlighted option.
- Press the Volume Down key until ‘Yes — delete all user data’ option is highlighted.
- Press the Power key to confirm the reset.
- Once the reset is complete, press the Power key to choose ‘Reboot system now.’
If the issue still persists then you need to have the phone checked at a service center.
