J7 Stuck In Black Screen With Blue LED Light
Problem: Sir my Samsung j7 is not opening it shows only black screen with blue light and when I’m trying to on or off it by power key with volume down key both at one time, it’s display had gone like switch off but with some moments it’s screen open showing samsung j7 android like normally but suddenly at this time it’s all finished and problem certainly still available how’s it was in the first. So plz sir suggest me what I have to do. thank you
Solution: The first thing you will have to do in this case is to make sure that your phone battery has sufficient charge. Connect your phone to its wall charger then let it charge for at least 20 minutes. If there is no charging indicator then follow the steps listed below.
- Clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air.
- Try using a different charging cord and wall charger.
- Try charging the phone from a computer USB port.
Once the phone has sufficient charge turn it on by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds.
If the issue still persists then see if you are able to access the recovery mode then from here perform a factory reset. Take note that this will erase your phone data.
If the above steps fails to fix the problem then this might already be caused by a faulty hardware component. The best thing you can do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
J7 Not Turning On After Getting Wet
Problem: Got a galaxy J7 phone…. got wet… like 1 second into the toilet… didn’t work but with passing hours got better… put on charger like 20 minutes later it fell. Placed the phone in rice for pretty much a week… and gave up…. put into case… another week later I checked up and plugged into wall charger… battery doesn’t charge but gone seems to be working perfectly… what seems I be the problem? Damaged battery?
Solution: The problem appears to be caused by a water damaged phone component. This could be the battery or other internal part of the device. The best way to be sure what part is damaged is to have the phone checked at a service center.
J7 Turned Off While Charging
Problem: Hi! Last night, I was using my Samsung J7 2016 while it was charging (bad idea) when it immediately turned off by itself. I thought that if I’d leave it overnight to charge, it would eventually turn back on but it didn’t. I have tried doing the soft reset which I read in one of your articles but it still didn’t work. When I plugged my cellphone into its charger, it heated up but it didn’t turn on or even vibrated. To add more information, my phone got submerged in water 2 weeks ago but I got it fixed at a cellphone repair shop. I hope you would reply as soon as possible. Thank you
Solution: Since the phone has history of coming into contact with water then the problem could be caused by a water damaged component. To check for other factors that can be causing this problem you should try cleaning the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air then charge the device for at least 20 minutes using a wall charger. After charging the phone do the following.
- Press and hold the power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds. Your phone should restart after this.
- Access the recovery mode. If the phone boots in this mode then you should do a factory reset. Take note that the reset will erase your phone data.
If the above steps fails to fix the problem then you should bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
J7 Only Boots To Samsung Logo
Problem: Well two days ago my J7 gave of a flash on the screen before charging it. Then this morning when I wanted to check the time in my phone it was on, so I tried to power it up and still it didn’t want to turn on. So I connected the charger to it and it shows as it is charging then I power it on while it is charging and it only powers up to the Samsung icon. And when I disconnect the phone from the charger it goes completely dead. What can I do? Is there a remedy for it?
Solution: The problem is most likely caused by a faulty battery or a power IC that isn’t working. The best thing you can do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
