LG V30 Screen Is Black But Notifications Are Working
Problem: Hi my problem i have with my phone is that the screen has gone black and all the sounds are working . I’ve tried couple of methods on the other page on not worked i am trying to get access to the phone for the photos i have on there as some of them are memory fotos i want to keep. Could you please help me
Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to start the phone in recovery mode and if the display works in this mode try wiping the cache partition first then restart the phone. In case the display remains black then we might be looking at a damaged display assembly. The best thing to do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
LG V30 Screen Is Black After Drop
Problem: Hello, A year ago I dropped my phone and the screen broke but it would work just fine. Today, I dropped my phone again by accident and when I saw the screen it was just black with some green areas. The phone can be turned on and when I touch the screen it seems like it responds but the screen still looks black with green areas changing whenever I touch it. I wonder if it might be just the screen that is damaged now or that my phone also got damaged when I dropped it.
Solution: Is your phone still getting any notifications? If it is then the display might be the only component that is damaged. If however the phone is not getting any notifications then there could be other components that have been damaged by the drop. The best thing that you can do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
LG V30 Not Working When Exposed To Cold Temperature
Problem: Hi my problem with my phone is when it starts to get cold or it is cold. I live in Western Australia so cold here isn’t that cold. Any temperature under 15 degrees is when this problem exists. If the phone is left anywhere inside and or outside face up or down it starts to flicker then go blank or it will just be blank. I can rub the screen quickly on my clothes to generate heat it worked but in the process of that the phone has deleted and gone into how many thingz making things even worse…lol so i stopped that. Best way is to put in front of a heater for 2-3 sec and works like a charm without a doubt. I can even breath warm air onto it and it works but not sure about the condensation factor so that’s a last resort. Same conditions as above but in my jeans pocket obviously where there’s warmth phone works fine and hasn’t done it only if in the cool air How to overcome this annoying gremlin??
Solution: Unfortunately, this is already a hardware related problem possibly caused by a faulty hardware component. The best thing you can do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
