Galaxy A5 Is Not Charging

Problem: My Samsung a5 2017 is not charging brought a new charger and also its been replaced with a new usb port and chip but still not charging now I’m being told I’ve gotta pay for a new motherboard the phone was working great other than it just not charging any ideas or recommendations please!!!

Solution: Have you tried having the battery of the phone checked? If the battery is faulty then there’s a possibility that the phone will not charge. In case the battery of the phone is working properly then it’s likely that the motherboard is damaged. You should then decide if it is going to be economical to have the motherboard replaced or if getting a new phone is the better option.

Galaxy A5 Charging Cord Does Not Fit Charging Port

Problem: Hi i have an A5 2017 woow i loved the device big time. But the last 2 months probs i got with it has made me now think 10 times b4 i buy a samsung device ahhhhh. Last month fingerprint scanner refused working on its own did everything all the guides i got till now never worked ever. Friday everything was fine then plugging it in the type c charger wont go inside no more, there’s nothing absolutely nothing inside the port it just doesn’t get bought 2 samsung type c chargers & still ahhhhhh.. Had to go back to my a7 2015 which am using now & wow didn’t realise how terrible it was till now after the a5. Don’t know if you can help but i have resigned to just throwing it away.

Solution: It looks like the charging port of the phone has either been deformed or some obstruction is present. If you have already checked the port and there is no presence of dirt or debris then you should have this checked at a service center. The port will most likely have to be replaced.

Galaxy A5 Reset Pop-up Message

Problem: I have Samsung A5 2017 model, i bought it a year ago. I have issue to this phone after 8 or 9 months using this. I don’t have any idea why it pop-ups a message Need to be Reset. I’m afraid to click that button because it may lost my all datas and contacts, it appears 4 times a month ago then one time, out of nowhere it pop-ups again then accidentally I click that button then it forcely Reset the entire phone. It so sad because I need to retrieve or save all application, data and emails in my phone. It very frustrating and sad. And this last week it appears again when i turn-on, I don’t know how to fix it that’s why i need to restart my phone to close that message. I’m afraid again to show it unexpectedly. And i also learn to backup my entire data. Please help me to fix this issue. I’m hoping you can fix my problem. Thank you

Solution: The pop-up is most likely caused by an app you downloaded. The best thing that you can do right now is to backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete make sure to only install apps downloaded from the Google Play Store.

Galaxy A5 Screen Randomly Will Not Unlock

Problem: Occasionally my Samsung Galaxy A5 won’t unlock when screen is swiped. When this happens, I have to restart phone to unlock. If during this period of a call comes in, the phone will unlock. I an using fingerprint and pin. Also, I have cleared cache partition and problem persists. Need help as frustrating.
