Note 5 Lag After Reset
Problem: I am using Samsung galaxy note 5 . When I purchased this handset working very fine. After 6 months some problems are raised like automatic call dropping. Hissing voice Low battery backup. Over heating. Sensor not working. So this time I made hard reset using volume up.power key and menu key. Before hard reset I am using Android Version 7.1.2. After the hard reset my Samsung galaxy note 5. Android Version degrades 7.0 version. After the hard reset mobile charger is working cable mode. and system totally working slow. Internet doesn’t connect properly. Getting cursing voice when I make a call. 1.How can I get my original Android 7.1.2 OS again in my handset? How can solve my problems?
Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to backup your phone data then remove the microSD card of the phone ( if you have one installed). Start the phone in recovery mode then do the steps listed below.
- Wipe the cache partition of the phone.
- Perform a factory reset.
After performing the steps listed above restart your phone then check if the issue still occurs. If it doesn’t then you should update your phone software using the OTA method or by connecting your phone to a computer with Smart Switch installed.
In case the issue persists even after performing the steps listed above then you will need to bring your phone to a service center and have it checked.
Note 5 Retrieving Information From Phone That Does Not Turn On
Problem: Left my Samsung Note 5 in pickup. Overheated in 95 degrees. Can’t get it to turn on long enough to get my information out of it. I was able to transfer backup items. I have a few icons that were not on a backup. These had my different accounts with username & passwords. We tried the 3 button approach & it will turn on. Can’t seem to get past the Samsung logo. We did this without SIM card in phone. Does this make a difference? We have also put phone in freezer. Can you send any information on how to obtain information that I need?
Solution: The only way you will be able to retrieve the information stored in your phone is if you are able to turn it on. Try the following troubleshooting steps listed below and see if it helps.
- Connect the phone to its charger and let it charge for at least 20 minutes. Disconnect the charger once the phone has sufficient charge.
- Press and hold both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds. Your phone should restart after this.
- Try starting the phone in Safe Mode. If you are able to access this mode then you will be able to retrieve some of your phone data.
In case the above steps fails to fix the problem then you will have to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
