S7 Edge Stuck In Samsung Logo After Software Update
Problem: i have galaxy s7 edge after update it is hang on samsung logo after that it’s completely dead not showing any thing not show charging. no respond different key combination no show download mode no safe mode no restart . what i can do please help i m very thankful to you
Solution: What you should do first in this case is to remove the microSD card of your phone if you have one installed. Once this is done simulate a battery pull by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds. Normally, your phone should restart after this. If it doesn’t then proceed with the steps listed below.
- Clean the charging port of your phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure that any dirt or debris stuck in this port is removed.
- Charge your phone for at least 20 minutes. Check if the phone has a charging indicator.
- If you don’t see a charging indicator then try using a different charging cord and wall charger. You should also check if the phone can charge from a computer USB port.
If the phone charges then try turning it on again. If it doesn’t turn on then check if the phone can start in recovery mode. If it starts in this mode then I recommend that you do a factory reset. Take note that the reset will erase your phone data.
Should the above steps fail to fix the problem then you should bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
S7 Edge Randomly Restarting
Problem: My phone keeps turning off and back on if I don’t turn it off manually it will just keep going on and off anytime I try to open any apps it turns off then restarts I’ve put it in safe mode it does the same it’s now locked on saying downloading do not turn off target all buttons have frozen
Solution: What you will want to do first in this case is to remove the microSD card of the phone if you have one installed. Next, simulate a battery pull by pressing and holding both the power and volume down button for at least 10 seconds. Your phone should restart after this. You will have to backup your phone data once the phone has started. After backing up your phone data I suggest that you perform a factory reset from the recovery mode.
If the phone still keeps on restarting after performing a factory reset then this could already be caused by a hardware component that is failing to work. If this is the case then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
S7 Edge Stuck In Reboot Loop
Problem: My S7 Edge has gone into a reboot loop in the last 24 hours and is overheating. I can get to my lock screen after a hard reset but I cannot begin to start looking at what Apps might be causing the problem because the phone will not allow fingerprint access. It requests password entry which is fine but the keypad screen does not display after swiping to begin the password access. I don’t have any means to be able to type the password to get access to the phone. Can you advise please.
Solution: If your phone has a microSD card installed then you should remove it first before performing any troubleshooting steps. Once the phone does not have any card installed you will have to start the phone in recovery mode then perform a factory reset. Take note that the reset will erase your phone data. If the issue still occurs even after the reset then you will have to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
S7 Edge Does Not Turn On
Problem: Hello, I am having a problem turning on my phone, I was using it when it suddenly went blank and appears to be off. I have tried tips from your reset advise but know luck, my batt is fully charged and nothing I do seems to turn it on. please could you help. Thanks
Solution: For this particular issue you will have to perform a simulated battery pull. This is done by pressing and holding both the power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds. Your phone should restart after this.
In case the phone does not start then you should proceed with the following troubleshooting steps.
- Clean the charging port of your phone using a can of compressed air.
- Charge your phone for at least 20 minutes using a different charging cord and wall charger.
- Try turning on the phone.
If the above steps fails to fix the problem then you will have to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked as this could already be caused by a faulty hardware component.
S7 Edge Discharges When Using Hotspot
Problem: S7 edge discharges when using hotspot. Once hotspot is disabled, charging becomes relatively normal
Solution: When the hotspot feature is turned on your phone will use up more battery power. If the battery discharges even when plugged to a charger when the hotspot is on then you should try using a different charger. The output current of the current charger that you are using might be too low which can cause this particular problem.
S7 Edge Overheating Error After Taking Underwater Photos
Problem: I was using my Samsung s7 edge phone to take underwater photos after few minutes maybe 30 mins…….There is a overheating message in my phone and my phone became switch off Automatically ..what can i do Can u plzzz help me out with this problem?? ??
Solution: This issue is most likely caused by water that has seeped into the phone. Although this device has a waterproof feature it still is not a 100% sure solution to prevent water from entering the phone. What you will want to do in this case is to wipe the phone dry using a soft cloth. Next, remove the SIM card and the microSD card ( if you have one installed). Check inside the SIM slot if the sticker has changed from a normal white color to pink or red. If the sticker has changed color then the phone has suffered some form of water damage. What you will want to do right now is to place the phone in a bag of rice for at least 48 hours. Once this is done check if the issue still occurs. If it does then you will have to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
