S7 Edge Moisture Detected Not Charging

Problem: hi i have Samsung galaxy S7 edge.It got wet somehow and showed the moisture detection error and didn’t charged the phone. Battery was very low and finally the battery ran out and the phone got powered off. Now neither the phone is charging and neither the phone is powering on i am very worried kindly help me asap

Solution: What you will want to do in this case is to make sure that the charging port of the phone is dry. Using a hair dryer will speed up the natural evaporation of water in the port. Once the port is dry follow this up by cleaning it with a can of compressed air making sure that any dirt or debris stuck in the port gets removed. Try charging the phone. If it does not charge then try using a different charging cord and wall charger.

You should also check if the phone can charge from a computer USB port. If the phone can charge this way then a pin in the charging port might be damaged. You will need to have this checked at a service center.

If you have a wireless charger then you should check if your phone can charge wirelessly. If it can charge then the phone might have a damaged charging port. You will have to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

Should the above steps fail to fix the problem then you will have to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

S7 Edge Is Not Responding

Problem: Hi..my phone is only 5 months old. The problem started when I charged the phone after 1 hour the screen goes black and become unresponsive. There still a green light but it doesn’t do anything. So i did press the power and home button and so with the volume key..as what i’ve seen in youtube which fixed the problem. But after 3 hours it just shut off completely.. no led indicator or anything. I hooked it up to my charger and it is not showing any signs that it is charging. Tried pressing the buttons as what i did before to force reboot but it is not responding.. it is completely dead..hope you could help me to fix my phone.. by the way my phone is unlocked and unfortunately i have no insurance..that i’m sad if i could fix it..thanks

Solution: You should start the troubleshooting by simulating a battery pull by pressing and holding the power and volume down button for at least 10 seconds. Your phone should restart after this. If it doesn’t then you should proceed with the troubleshooting steps listed below.

  • Clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure to remove any dirt or debris stuck in this port.
  • Charge the phone for at least 20 minutes.
  • If the phone does not charge then try using a different charging cord and wall charger.
  • Check if the phone can charge from a computer USB port. If it charges this way then one of the pins of the charging port might be damaged. You will need to have this checked at a service center.

In case the above steps fails to fix the problem then you should bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

S7 Edge Shuts Down When The Screen Is Locked

Problem: i am just a 13 year old kid with a problem for my s7 edge it shuts down right after i lock the screen . when i lock the screen the ‘ always on’ display comes up and once it disappears it just vanishes the phone just shuts down on its own. please tell me if there is another option other than back-upping the whole  phone

Solution: You could try to check if an app you installed is causing this problem by starting the phone in Safe Mode. If the issue does not occur in this mode then it could be caused by an app that you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.

Another factor that can cause this particular problem is a faulty microSD card. If your phone has one installed then try removing it.

In case the above steps fails to fix the problem then you should consider doing a factory reset. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset.

S7 Edge Turned Off While Watching YouTube

Problem: hi…while i watched youtube while charging then it suddenly died.. completely dead and wont charge. i did the soft reset…i did pressed the home button, power button and the volume down. i tried everything. but still didn’t work. hope you can help me..thanks

Solution: You should try simulating a battery pull first by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds. If the phone doesn’t restart then you should proceed with the troubleshooting steps listed below.

  • Clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure that any dirt or debris stuck in the port is removed.
  • Charge the phone for at least 20 minutes using its orignal charger
  • If the phone does not charge then try using a different charging cord and wall charger.
  • Check if the phone can charge from a computer USB port.

If the above steps fails to fix the problem then you should bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

S7 Edge Music Randomly Plays And Stops

Problem: I own a Samsung galaxy s7 edge and recently, my music would randomly play and stop and the volume would change drastically as my music plays as well. While I’m reading or scrolling through my social media, the Google app randomly opens as well and I don’t know what to do. Help!!

Solution: There’s a possibility that this problem is caused by some software glitch. The first thing that you should do in this case is to start the phone in Safe Mode then check if the issue occurs in this mode. If it doesn’t then it’s likely caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.

If the problem still occurs even in Safe Mode then you should proceed with wiping the cache partition of the phone from the recovery mode. Once this is done backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

In case the above steps fails to fix the problem then you will have to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

S7 Edge Freezes And Restarts

Problem: Hi. I really need your help, I bought Samsung galaxy s7 edge duos yesterday and now they keep freezing and restart. Every time I used some app they will freeze and restart. Cmon why this phone being like this???? Used for one day only n now getting worse?? Please I can’t stand anymore. I use all my money to buy this phone.

Solution: Did you install a microSD card in the phone? If you did then try removing this card then check if the issue still occurs. If it does then I suggest you backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete do not install any apps in your phone yet. Instead, ty to check if the phone still freezes and restarts.

If the above steps fails to fix the problem then you should bring your phone to a service center and have it checked.
