S6 Edge Plus No Display
Problem: Help please.. i don’t know what happen, there is no display. There is the blue indicator light that the phone turns on but there is no display instead of green lines that pops up on the screen when u press the home or power button.
Solution: What you should do right now is to make sure that the battery of the phone has sufficient charge. Charge the phone first for at least 20 minutes using its wall charger. Once this is done attempt a simulate battery pull by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds. If the display still remains blank then check if it works when the phone is started in recovery mode. If it does then you will need to perform a factory reset from here. Take note that this will erase your phone data.
If the above steps fails to fix the problem then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
S6 Edge Plus Screen Went Black
Problem: The phone was dropped six months ago and it had a small line in it. It worked fine for six months but suddenly the screen went black and sometimes it flickers the touch is working but the screen is not . I have not downloaded any apps for a while before this happen and I have not dropped the phone again
Solution: It looks like this problem is caused by the physical damage of the screen. What you will want to do right now is to eliminate any software glitches that could be causing this problem by starting the phone in recovery mode then doing a factory reset from here. Take note that the reset will erase your phone data.
If the issue remains then you will have to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
S6 Edge Plus Keeps On Restarting
Problem: I have an S6 edge plus with the problem is its working good but when ever i am trying to the audio messages from messenger or whatsapp majority time its gone to restart and then restarting several time almost 20 min and then turn on self and also i am noted right now when i need to record my video message and turn on the camera after 2 3 sec its happen again please suggest me what the problem and i plugged the charger during restarting sometimes its turn on but sometimes continue restarting
Solution: The first thing that you need to do in this case is to check if an app you installed is causing the problem. To do this you have to start the phone in Safe Mode then check if the issue occurs in this mode. If it doesn’t then it is likely caused by a downloaded app. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
In case the issue occurs in Safe Mode then you will need to backup your phone data then do a factory reset. As soon as the reset is complete check if the issue still occurs. Do not install any apps in your phone yet.
If the above steps fails to fix the problem then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked as this could already be a hardware related problem.
S6 Edge Plus Overheats
Problem: Hi My S6 edge plus gets extensively heated up if used continuously. So much so that is unbeatable to even touch it, mostly the back. I tried wiping cache partition and rebooting. Currently using in safe mode but it still is hot. While booting it shows android dead with yellow exclamation mark and in the battery usage,it says android OS is using most of the battery followed by screen and cell standby. Please help me.
Solution: Try doing a factory reset then once the reset is complete do not install any apps in your phone yet. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset. Check if the issue still occurs. If it does then this could already be caused by a hardware component that is failing to work properly. The best thing to do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
S6 Edge Plus Screen Not Responding After Getting Wet
Problem: My Samsung Galaxy S6 edge plus screen is not responding, and I can not switch it off. This happened after water spilled into my handbag where it was. What should I do? But the screen is OK and side buttons are working
Solution: Since your phone got wet what you will want to do right now is to make sure that it is dry. Wipe the exterior part with a soft cloth. It’s very likely that moisture has entered the device which is why you will also need to place the phone in a bag of rice for at least 48 hours. Check if the issue still occurs one this is done. If the problem persists then you should bring the phone to a service center and have it checked as the device might be water damaged.
S6 Edge Plus Boot Loop
Problem: hello, my 8 month old galaxy s6 edge+ unlocked, bought in belgium mobile boot loops. i tried wipe data/ factory reset option and wipe cache partition option. but nothing happens after selecting those options. I also tried putting custom os using odin which don’t help. Too the mobile to few shops and they rooted the device and tried few things it don’t help either. Please advice.
Solution: It looks like this is already caused by an internal hardware component that is failing to work properly. I recommend that you bring this phone to a service center and have it checked.
