S6 Edge Not Connecting To Wi-Fi After Software Update
Problem: My S6 Edge took a system update on 11.3.17 and since then the phone hasn’t been able to connect to my home and office wi-fi connections. It says there is an “authentication error” and now it won’t even attempt to reconnect to those wi-fi’s. The battery has also started to significantly drain. I am more concerned with the wi-fi connectivity problem. Please help!
Solution: Try forgetting the Wi-Fi networks saved in your phone then connect to them again. If you are still getting the same error message then this is most likely caused by some form of old software data that has not been completely removed during the update process. The best way to address this concern is to backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete you should be able to connect to Wi-Fi networks again.
S6 Edge Home Button Is Not Working
Problem: My home button in not working for some time and if activate (use of google voice assistant ,it’s working again. Some time my doesn’t wake up with home button but can wake up with power button and after using google voice assistant , it’s start working again. Some time my screen start on and off and again by change of language ,it’s come to normal. Please advice some tricks to solve it. latest software version NRD90M-G925FXXU5EQK5
Solution: The first thing that you will need to do in this particular case is to check if the problem is caused by an app you downloaded. To do this just start your phone in Safe Mode. When the phone operates in this mode only the pre-installed apps are allowed to run. Check if the issue occurs in this mode. If it doesn’t then it could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
In case the issue occurs even in Safe Mode then proceed with the additional troubleshooting steps listed below.
- Wipe the cache partition of the phone from the recovery mode. Restart the phone then check if the issue still occurs.
- Backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete try checking if the issue still occurs.
In case the above steps fails to fix the problem then you should bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
S6 Edge Not Charging After Getting Wet
Problem: Hi , My Samsung Galaxy S6 edge was dropped in the toilet accidentally today. I was at work so I tried to dry it using toilet papers. Then after a few minus it started blinking and the middle button is extremely sensitive. Though it has charge, it whew that it has 1% charge and eventually when I wanted to charge it. It says unable to charge due to battery low heat. I am extremely unhappy because it is an expensive and new mobile. It is hard to live without a mobile so I need your assistance please. Kind Regards
Solution: The best thing that you can do when your phone gets wet is to make sure that it gets dry since this is not a waterproof model. Wipe the external part using a dry cloth. Once this is done place the phone in a bag of rice for at least 48 hours. The rice will absorb the moisture inside the phone. Try checking if the issue still occurs. If it does then the phone is most likely water damaged already. You will need to bring this to a service center and have it checked if this is the case.
S6 Edge Not Turning On
Problem: after using my phone normally at work i used up majority of the battery i had like 8% left so i plugged it in to charge into a USB slot on my PC to charge it charged to like 15% (i was rushing to go somewhere)so i put it in my pocket and when i got to the place i was going i took it out and it was off completely so i tried to turn it on to no response i then plugged it into a wall charger and the charge icon came up so i assumed it was charging then i noticed the phone was charging but it was saying 96% when i knew the phone only had like 15% like i said earlier so i unplugged it and tried to turn it on to no avail so what i’m getting at is if this is a software problem or a battery problem and can this problem be fixed?
Solution: What you should do right now is to make sure that the phone is charging properly by following the troubleshooting steps listed below.
- Clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure to remove any dirt or debris stuck in this port.
- Charge the phone for at least 20 minutes using a wall charger. In case the phone does not charge then try using a different charging cord and wall charger.
- Disconnect the phone from the charger then turn it on by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds.
In case the above steps fails to fix the problem then this is most likely a hardware related issue possibly caused by a faulty battery. You will need to have this checked at a service center.
S6 Edge Screen Goes Black
Problem: Phone screen went black when home button or power button is pressed the screen blinks shows u a small glimpse of the home menu then turns black again On occasion it would become normal and usable again but as soon as phone goes to sleep problem arises again
Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to backup your phone data then do a factory reset. This way you will be able to check if a software glitch is causing the problem. In case the issue persists after the reset then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked as this could already be caused by a hardware component that is failing to work properly.
S6 Edge Wi-Fi Not Working In Airplane Mode
Problem: After updating my phone (setting -> software update) today 24-Nov 2018 my wifi doesn’t work in flight mode. After I put my cell on flight mode, then I turn on wifi to search available wifi, but it can’t show me any. Although when I turn off flight mode, it can. I clean system cache as well to see if it might fix, but still I have a same problem. Could you show me how to fix it. Regards

Problem: Hello , I was trying to recover some deleted photos for work. I was using wondershare DR Fone for Android. Someone knocked the cable and phone was disconnected. it is now showing an error has occured while updating the device and i can not seem to do anything with it. I tried using smart switch but it came up saying it was unsupported device and all the recommendations for getting around this are not working for me. I am worried i will damage the phone if i am honest.
Solution: You should try using a different USB cord when connecting the phone to your computer as the cord that you are using might have been damaged.
