Note 5 Unfortunately Phone Has Stopped Working Error

Problem: Unable to use other apps (like 3rd party calendar app) when on a phone call – get message “unfortunately phone has stopped working” Tried all your fixes for that including cache partition, except I don’t want to do a system (hard) reset. Also, unable to clear dialer cache and data because they are “greyed out”. Tried to delete earlier versions of Phone app, but only able to “force stop” earlier versions, which had no effect on anything. An apparently unrelated problem is constant message “software update available”, which comes back on drop down message even though update performed.

Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to first tackle the software update problem by connecting your phone to a computer with the latest version of Smart Switch running then do the update using the software.

In case the issue still persists then I highly recommend that you do a factory reset. Just make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset.

Note 5 Apps Have Stopped Working

Problem: i have tried  all solution reset phone lots of time . but it’s still  shows  google play  services  has stopped  and all app become stopped . after reset device  immediately  same  problem again . i have a  samsung galaxy note 5

Related Problem: Certain apps won’t open since the update…netflix will only open certain movies…diner dash opens to a black screen ECT. I have uninstalled and reinstalled all apts and it doesn’t help

Solution: The best way to fix this problem is to go to clear the cache and data of the affected app from the application manager. If this doesn’t fix the problem then check if your phone is running on the latest software version and if it isn’t update your phone software. Once this is done backup your phone data then do a factory reset.
