Google Pixel Not Charging Not Turning On
Problem: My battery was dead. I plugged it into charge but it didn’t showed me any charging signs on the phone. I left it in charge for 3-4 hours still it was not getting powered on and was not showing any charging signs. I tried to boot it in recovery mode but it was useless no vibration noting while powering it on and when i try to connect it with computer the computer device manager shows me that i had connected an unknown device.
Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure to remove any dirt or debris stuck in this port. Next, try charging the phone for at least 20 minutes using a different charging cord and wall charger. If the phone still does not charge or turn on then this is already a hardware related problem in which case you will need to bring it to a service center and have it checked.
Problem: Hi, I have a google pixel. The wifi button will not turn on. When I press the wifi button for a split second it will say on and then go straight to off. I have tried a factory reset. Thanks
Solution: Unfortunately in this case the problem seems to be caused by a faulty Wi-Fi chip since doing a factory reset does not fix the problem. You will have to bring the phone to a service center and have the phone repaired.
Google Pixel Has Ads Appearing
Problem: Since last system update my Google Pixel (one) often has ads fill the screen and when i close them the phone restarts i.e. it goes back to “jumping dots”, Shows Google logo, vibrates, then the lock screen comes up. It also not only requires fingerprint to open, but the security pattern. This can happen a few times in the day, dependent on use
Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete do not install any apps yet instead try checking first if the issue still occurs.
If you experience any issues after the reset then you will have to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
Google Pixel Not Connecting To Wi-Fi
Problem: I own a Google Pixel 1. I’m having troubles connecting to my home WiFi network. I’ve tried everything from forgetting and re-entering the password, to factory resetting my device. Nothing seems to be working, should I contact my ISP and ask them to reset the IPs?
Solution: Try checking if the issue occurs when you connect your phone to a different Wi-fi network. If the phone is still having difficulty connecting to another network then this is already a hardware related issue in which case you will have to bring the phone to a service center. In case your phone only has difficulty connecting to your home Wi-Fi network then you should try resetting your router.
Google Pixel Not Turning On
Problem: Good morning/afternoon I have problem with my pixel phone. It is not booting , I tried to troubleshoot but still not working . It is fully Charged , when I plug a cable nothing is shown , No battery icon , or red light .. I tried to connect the device to a PC put it wasn’t recognized!! I can hear the system sound that something has been connected, but nothing appears ! I tried to enter to safe mode But can not. I read many articles and tried to open the phone , but all my attempts failed!! Note that this phone is new , which is replaced the previous phone when some sounds issue occurred. I feel very bad , because I received this phone in September and it takes long time to send the phone to USA , in order to check it. Previously I had Nexus 4 , and it works fine till this time . I hope that there is some way to fix my problem without sending the phone back to the company
Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to clean the charging port of the phone then charge it using a different charging cord and wall charger. If the phone still does not turn on then this is already a hardware related problem in which case you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
Google Pixel Front Camera Keeps Shutting Down
Problem: My camera works on rear but front facing (selfie) camera keeps shutting down Everytime I try to selfie mode…the app shuts down. This is on google pixel 1. I tried rebooting safe mode clear cache..and even factory resetting my phone…is it just broken?? Also uninstalled and reinstalled camera app. Anything else to try?
Solution: It appears that the front camera module is defective. You can have this checked at a service center. If it is found to be defective then this camera module should be replaced.
