S9+ Won’t Charge
Problem: hi i have an S9+. some days ago it was dropped from hand in floor. then suddenly my phone switched off and blackout. then i opened the phone and i found that it’s battery connectors has broken . then i connect usb charger to my phone and it shows the charging sign. but it didn’t open completely with only the charger. then i went to market for new battery . there i take a new battery .when i connect them with my phone my phone starts. but after 1 sec of starting it get shut down again . so what can i do ?and what’s the problem you think?
Solution: Try connecting the phone to its charger then let it charge for 20 minutes. With the phone still connected to the charger try turning on the phone. In case the issue persists then there might be another hardware component that got damaged during the drop. The best thing to do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
S9+ Won’t Power On
Problem: Hello, I have a S9+. It is not switching on.
– When pushing the power button, it stays off.
– When pushing the “power”, the “Home” and the “Sound down” buttons at once, the Download menu shows up.:
– If I select “restart”, it makes the Galaxy starting and then it turns off after 2 seconds
– If I select “Download”, the phone freezes on the download menu forever
– When I plug the Galaxy to the power supply via USB, nothing happens (not even the power animation)
I suspect a hardware issue and ready to replace the defective hardware components. However, I wonder if the problem is due to the power board, the motherboard or maybe even a gripped power button. Any advice is welcome.
Solution: What you should do right now is to clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air making sure that any dirt or debris stuck in it is removed. Once this is done you should charge the phone for at least 20 minutes using its wall charger. If the phone does not charge then try using a different charging cord and wall charger. It’s also best to check if the phone can charge from a computer USB port. As soon as the phone has enough charge try turning on the phone by pressing and holding the power and volume down buttons simultaneously for at least 10 seconds.
In case the phone still does not turn on then try accessing the recovery mode then from here do a factory reset. Take note that this will erase you phone data.
If the above steps fail to fix the problem then you will have to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
S9+ Will Not Charge
Problem: My Samsung S9+ won’t charge – it previously overheated the night before and turned itself off – which I did think was unusual as this has never happened before – I haven’t had any issues for the entire day, and then I plugged it in to charge earlier and it was fine – I disconnected it before it fully charged. I tried plugging it in again and it wouldn’t charge? I tried resetting it in safe mode, checked my charger and none of these work
Solution: The first thing that you should do in this particular case is to clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure to remove any dirt or debris stuck in this port. Next, you should try charging the phone for at least 20 minutes using its wall charger. In case the phone does not charge then try using a different charging cord and wall charger. You should also check if the phone can charge from a computer USB port.
If the phone still does not charge then you should bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
