S9+ Wi-Fi Stopped Working
Problem: Hello, My s9+ WiFi stopped working. The option to switch it on is acting like a loose switch. I switch it on and it comes back to off position. Everything else works fine. I have already done a hard reset but didn’t resolve the problem. Any ideas?
Solution: Since you have already performed a factory reset and the Wi-fi switch still does no turn on then this is most likely a hardware related problem possibly caused by a faulty Wi-Fi chip. The best thing to do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
S9+ Random No Network Signal
Problem: Hello, I’ll appreciate a lot if you could help me with my samsung S9+ network problem. So I bought this phone and for the first month it was working absolutely fine but then suddenly out of nowhere this weird network problem showed up that the network keeps on dropping from H+ to H and then to E and then suddenly all the network bar disappears and then even my calls won’t connect as it says no mobile network available, and it stays for many hours or even a day but then suddenly it works fine for few mins and then same problem.. I checked with the sim and sim works fine in other mobiles, so there is no issue with the sim by sure I can say that. I tried everything I could and even data factory reset the mobile but the problem still remains. I was hoping if you could guide me through this problem. Thank you
Solution: Try checking if the problem is network related by going to a different area then check if the issue occurs. You should also try placing another SIM in your phone.
In case the problem still occurs and since you mentioned that you have already performed a factory reset then this is most likely a hardware related problem already. The best thing that you can do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
S9+ Internet Is Not Available Error
Problem: Just bought a galaxy S9+ and it will not maintain internet connection while on wifi. The wifi signal is good and strong on all of the networks I’ve attempted to use internet on, and the internet will work for few minutes, but always gives me an exclamation mark on the wifi symbol with a message that says “internet may not be available”. I have browsed around on google looking for a solution to no avail, and it seems multiple people are experiencing the same issue after the update. Please keep me in the loop if Samsung offers up any fixes or if anyone figures something out. Thanks!
Solution: Does this issue happen on a particular Wi-Fi network or does it happen on all Wi-Fi networks that your phone connects to? If it is only on one network then try forgetting the Wi-Fi network from your phone then connect to it again.
In case the issue occurs for all the Wi-Fi networks that your phone connects to then proceed with the troubleshooting steps listed below.
- Start the phone in Safe Mode then check if the issue occurs in this mode. If it doesn’t then the problem could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
- Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.
S9+ Wi-Fi Randomly turns Off After Software Update
Problem: After last update the wifi is switching off by itself- Switching on is possible only after reboot. This is repeated periodically and I have to reboot the device many times. The issue is available also after deleting the cache partition. What I have to do to solve the problem?
Solution: The problem is most likely caused by old software data that has not been completely removed during the update process. This old data is now causing a conflict with the new software version resulting in this problem. The best thing to do right now is to backup your phone data then do a factory reset. This will delete the old data stored in the phone.
