S7 Edge Not Completely Charging
Problem: Hello, I have a S7 Edge. It normally charges without issue, however in the past 3 days I have left it charging at night, when I get up it is only at 74%. I have left it plugged in in Safe Mode to see if that was an issue. I have tried turning it off and charging it. Do you have any solutions to this problem? I do not think it is update related since it has not updated in a long time.
Related Problem: I have the galaxy S7 Edge an i didn’t have a case on it an i stood up an it fell out of my pocket and it completely shattered the back of my phone an every since when it charges once it gets to a certain percent it quits charging yesterday it stopped charging at 93% and today it was 88% but once i turn it off and turn it back on it finishes charging
Solution: What you should do in this case is to clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Once this is done charge the phone using a different charging cord and wall charger. In case the same issue occurs then you will have to backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete do not install any apps in your phone yet. Try checking first if the problem still occurs. This way you can check if the issue is caused by a software glitch.
If the above steps fails to fix the problem then your phone might need a new battery. I recommend that you have this checked at a service center.
S7 Edge Turned Off With Battery Life Left
Problem: So I bought this phone not that long ago and everything has been working fine until last night I was on instagram and I swiped right on the screen and then my phone just turned off I don’t no why it was at 42% battery life so it didn’t die but now it won’t turn on it has never gotten wet i’ve never dropped it and it has a lifeproof case.
Solution: To turn on the phone try pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds. Your phone should restart after this. If it doesn’t then proceed with the troubleshooting steps listed below.
- Clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air.
- Charge your phone for at least 20 minutes using a wall charger.
- If the phone does not charge then try using a different charging cord and wall charger. You should also try charging the phone from a computer USB port.
- Turn on the phone.
In case the phone does not turn on then this could already be caused by a hardware component that is failing to work properly. I recommend that you have this checked at a service center.
S7 Edge Will Not Charge
Problem: My S7 Edge won’t charge and i really u will be able to help me. The problem was that at first it said it had moisture in the usb port. so i let it for an hour but still it says it has moisture. then i long pressed the notification and forced stopped it..since then my phone wont charge..i already tried to factory reset it but still wont charge
Solution: If the phone is getting a moisture detected error then your phone will not be able to charge. You need to make sure that the charging port is free from moisture first by using a vacuum or hair dryer. When charging the phone you should also try using a different charging cord and wall charger.
If the above steps fails to fix the problem then you should have this checked at a service center.
S7 Edge Will Not Completely Turn On
Problem: I have a S7 Edge, It was working just fine, before its battery drained off yesterday. Today in the morning after charging it, it is not getting switched on. The phone is getting switched on, but after the Samsung logo appears at the end, it doesn’t get to the home screen. Really looking forward to your help.
Solution: If your phone has a microSD card then you should remove it first. Once this is done start the phone in recovery mode then do a factory reset. Take note that this will erase your phone data. Restart the phone after this then check if the issue occurs. If the problem persists then you will have to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
