S6 Edge Plus Randomly Resetting

Problem: I own a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, here recently it has been randomly rebooting while I’m playing a game. But it has only happened on a game, I have deleted one of the gAmesbury the first time that happened because it was a heavy data use age game. I thought a smaller game would solve the issue. It still continues on a game that requires no data what so ever. What do I do?

Solution: Does this issue happen on any game that you try to play? Or does it occur only on specific games? If it’s only on specific games then there might be some coding issues with the game causing it to reboot the phone. Try uninstalling the game and install an updated version of the game from the Google Play Store.

If the issue occurs on any game you try to play then this this is either caused by a glitch in phone software or some battery related issue.

Try wiping the cache partition of your phone first from the recovery mode. Once this is done check if the issue still occurs. If it does then you should consider doing a factory reset. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset. Once the reset is complete install the affected games then check if the issue still occurs.

If the above steps fail to fix the problem then you should bring your phone to a service center and have it checked as this might be caused by a faulty battery.

S6 Edge Plus Wouldn’t Charge

Problem: Hi there, last night I went to charge my phone and it wouldn’t charge. It won’t even acknowledge that it’s been plugged in. Now my problem is, I have 5% battery life, and I have a folder of about 500 photos of my new baby, that need to be transferred over to my computer before my phone completely dies. But with only 5%, I know I won’t be able to email them to myself, which would really be my only option, but again my phone wont acknowledge being plugged in. Do you have any suggestions as to what I can do, that don’t include saying goodbye to my photos? Thanks!

Solution: Try cleaning the charging port of your phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure to remove any dirt or debris that could be causing this problem. If the phone still does not charge then try using a different charging cord as the one you are using right now could have a problem. You should also try using a different wall charger.  If the phone still does not charge try connecting it to your computer. If the phone gets recognized then it will also start charging.

If the problem persists then there’s no way of quickly backing up your files right now. You should bring your phone to a service center and have it checked.

S6 Edge Plus Not Charging Not Turning On

Problem: my samsung s6 edge was nearly dead so i put it on the charge {not my normal charger} came back to the phone 4 hours later and the phone is dead unresponsive it wont turn on tried charging again on my normal charger ,still no charging indicator, tried soft and hard reset nothing, plugged it into my laptop it doesn’t connect unless i hold the power button . i’m away at work for another 8 days so i can’t get to the telstra store to get it fixed till then , just want some insite on what it could be {battery, hardware, charge components

Solution: There are several factors that can cause this type of problem which we have  listed below.

  • A clogged charging port. Clean this port using a can of compressed air to check if this is the case.
  • It’s possible that a faulty charging cord is preventing the phone from being charged. Try using a different charging cord.
  • A defective wall charger can also cause this problem. Try replacing the charger if this is the case.

On the phone hardware side the issue can be caused by a defective charging port, faulty battery, or damaged internal component. For these factors you will need to bring your phone to a service center and have it checked.

S6 Edge Plus Charging Icon Appears But It Is Not Charging

Problem: Hi I have the Samsung s6 edge plus it has died when I plug it in to charge it pops up with the charging icon comes up then the charging icon pops up with 0% inside it then the screen goes blank and it keeps doing this over and over but isn’t charging can you help the phone is only 6 months old been kept in a case never dropped

Solution: You should try replacing the charging cord that you are using since there’s a possibility that the cord you are using is damaged. If the issue still occurs then try cleaning the charging port of your phone using a can of compressed air making sure that any dirt or debris is removed. Try to check if the issue is caused by your wall charger by using another one as well.

If the above steps fail to fix the problem then I suggest you bring your phone to a service center and have it checked.

S6 Edge Plus Unknown Charger Plugged In Error

Problem: My phone keeps saying that there is an unknown charger plugged in, and it gives me a notification every other second. The notification that pops up disappears right away, so I cannot choose the Don’t remind me box.

Solution: Are you using the stock charger that came with your phone? If you are using a third party charger then try using your phone’s original charger. If the issue persists then do the following troubleshooting steps listed below.

  • Clean the charging port of your phone using a can of compressed air making sure to remove any dirt or debris stuck in this port.
  • Try using a different charging cord.

If the above steps fail to fix the problem then bring your phone to a service center and have it checked.
