S6 Edge Plus Charging Gets Interrupted

Problem: So this just started but when I plug my s6 edge plus to the original charger and any other charger in any outlets, it starts charging but a few mins later it pops back on like the charge is being disrupted. I’ve read everything on your page and also your trouble shooting and nothing’s helping. Just want to know if this is serious?

Solution: One of the reasons why the charging process will disconnect is because of a faulty charging cord. Try using another charging cord when charging your phone then check if the issue still occurs. You should also try using a different wall charger to check if the charger is causing the problem. In case the issue persists your next step is to make sure that the charging port is free of any dirt or debris. Clean the port using a can of compressed air.

If after performing the above steps and the charging process still gets interrupted then I suggest that you have the charging port of your phone checked at a service center.

S6 Edge Plus Boot Loop Issue

Problem: I have a samsung s6 plus. I get the samsung logo followed by a Blue screen Saying installing software update, FOR about 3 seconds and then it shuts down and samsung logo comes back again followed by the same blue screen. Help please. Thanks

Solution: What you need to do first in this case is to start the phone in Safe Mode. If the phone starts in this mode then you should backup your phone data. Once the backup is complete you can try to restart the phone then check if it starts normally. If it doesn’t then proceed with starting the phone in recovery mode then do a factory reset from here.

In case the above step fails to fix the problem then you should consider flashing your phone with its updated firmware file. You can download the firmware file of your device from the Sammobile website. This is also where you can get the instructions on how to flash your phone.

S6 Edge Plus Is Not Charging

Problem: Hi my s6 edge plus isn’t charging. I’ve put in my fast charger and the phone says 0% constantly. I changed the charger I’ve used and tried a non fast charging charger, but the problem still persists. I’ve not had problems before and I’ve never left my phone in charge overnight- I’ve been careful with charging times.

Solution: What you will want to do right now is to clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure that any dirt or debris stuck in this port is removed. Once this is done try charging the phone. If it doesn’t charge then try using a different charging cord and wall charger.

If the issue persists then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

S6 Edge Plus Screen Is Black But Phone Is On

Problem: My phone is on and charged but screen will not turn on. I can’t remove battery because it is the s6 edge plus. I tried the volume button and power button together but nothing happened. I know it’s on though because I am still getting my blinking light for notifications. Please advise. Thank you!

Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to start the phone in recovery mode. If the screen works in this mode then you need to do a factory reset from here. Take note that the reset will erase your phone data. In case the screen is still black even in recovery mode then it’s likely that the display is faulty. You need to have this checked at a service center.

S6 Edge Plus Power Sharing Error

Problem: My phone says I don’t have the right charger plugged in, it also says i’m power sharing. It keeps beeping like my charger is plugged in but it’s not and the battery is draining.

Solution: What you will want to do in this case is to clean the charging port of the phone first making sure that any dirt or debris in it gets removed. Use a can of compressed air when cleaning the port. In case the issue persists the next step is to check if a software glitch is causing the problem. To do this you need to backup your phone data then do a factory reset. If after the reset the same problem occurs then this is most likely caused by a faulty charging port. You will have to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

S6 Edge Plus Call Still Connected Even If Call Ends

Problem: After phone call, call disconnects but number called still shows as if still on call. I am the unable to place a receive a call. Only way to fix is to restart phone. This only started today and I have had to restart phone at least 5 times.

Solution: The first thing that you will need to do in this case is to clear the cache and data of the phone app from the application manager. Once this is done try to check if the issue still occurs. If it does then proceed with the troubleshooting steps listed below.

  • Start the phone in Safe Mode then check if the problem occurs in this mode. If it doesn’t then this could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
  • Try wiping the cache partition of the phone from the recovery mode.
  • Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

S6 Edge Plus Stuck In Boot Screen After Flashing

Problem: After trying to root my device and trying to flash a zip file, my phone will not pass the initial boot screen without rebooting. When I went to flash the zip file, it had the android and said installing update and after a few seconds said error and died. I have tried every last option in the menu and to no avail has my phone successfully booted up. Thank you for helping me

Solution: Your best option right now is to download another firmware file for your phone then flash it again. You can get the firmware file from the Sammobile website.

When flashing the phone make sure to consider the following.

  • Use the latest version of Odin.
  • Try using a different USB cord.
  • Try connecting the phone to a different USB port.
