Google Pixel Rebooting Constantly

Problem: I got my Google Pixel phone perhaps 2 years ago and it has worked fine up until the second year I had it (minor issues and such). But now I have encountered my first major issue, as the phone is rebooting constantly about every 2-15 seconds, not even leaving me with enough time to reset the phone or start it in safe mode to try any of the aforementioned recovery/troubleshooting techniques. I repeat, _nothing_ has begun to stop or solve this problem whatsoever and I’ve spent over an hour reading and trying different methods (literally all but tearing the phone apart). I would either like for a hard fix or a brand new phone as this well advertised product with a decent reputation is no longer working whatsoever.

Solution: You should try connecting the phone to its charger then check if the phone still restarts in this mode. If it doesn’t then you should backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

In case the above step fails to work then you will need to have this checked at a service center.

Google Pixel Not Working With Power Bank

Problem: My phone doesn’t seem to work with any power bank that I use. Initially it may charge for a few seconds or minutes but after that it refuses to even detect the power bank. The power bank buttons also do not work when connected to the phone. For example pressing the power button to indicate remaining charge I really hope that the power banks are not dying from being connected to the phone

Solution: The first thing that you will need to do in this case is to check if the power bank works with other devices. Connect the power bank to another phone then check if it is detected. If it isn’t detected then you should get another power bank. In case it is detected then proceed to the troubleshooting steps listed below.

  • Clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air.
  • Try using a different USB cord to connect the power bank to your phone.

In case the issue persists then you should check if the phone can charge from a computer USB port. If it doesn’t then this is most likely caused by a defective pin in the charging port. You will need to have this check at a service center.

Google Pixel Black Screen Of Death

Problem: I lost my phone so I found it by looking at the Google find my phone thing. When I got my phone back it would not charge for more than a minute. Then I turned it on however it never really turned on. After looking it up online i think it is the black screen of death. It did have a blue light on in the corner but nothing else. It will not charge with any other charger except a wireless charger. However the red light that says it is charging does not come on. And now after a day the blue light does not come on.  I only use it on Wi-Fi however it has a lot of person & important things on it. Is there anything I can do to fix it. As far as I know it has not got wet it has not had anything installed on it that was not from the Google play store. No special rom installed.

Related Problem: My google pixel  will not power on. It just turned off when I was reading an article and I have tried all powering on methods. I have held down the power button for over a minute with no response. I have held the power button and down volume button to bring up different modes. Nothing happens if I arrow thru them and try to select them. It had near full battery when it shut down and has been charging fine but now doesn’t respond to a charger. I’m in traveling in South Africa and have lost all my last months of photos with no wifi to back them up with. I need my phone to power on. Please help!

Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to make sure that the battery of the phone has sufficient charge. Clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air then charge it for at least 20 minutes using its wall charger. Once this is done turn on the phone by pressing and holding the power button for at least 10 seconds.

In case the issue persists then you will have to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
