S7 Edge Randomly Freezes
Problem: Hello and thanks for your advices and the work you are doing! I found your page after I googled S7 Edge freezing cause that’s exactly what my problem is. The phone randomly freezes and by that I mean that either is totally closed off either is on but nothing responds. I had it send to service they changed the battery and the screen but it keeps doing it. They checked it again but they found nothing wrong. But the phone randomly freezes. It doesn’t turn off but you can’t receive calls or messages buttons and touch screen doesn’t respond the always on display screen time remains the same etc. Only thing I can do is pressing all buttons together so it restarts and un-freezes. I deleted apps I rebooted it I formatted it but it will freeze at least once every week. And the only way I can see that this happened is by checking the hour and see that it’s not correct. So I am like hey why the phone is 2 hours behind? I press the u lock button to open it nothing happens so I understand that 2 hours ago it froze. I don’t know what to do. Please I would appreciate any help. Btw your steps here talks about rebooting or deleting cache etc to see if after this step freezing still exists. Problem is that I can’t do any of these steps cause the phone doesn’t respond. Only I can do is press everything together and release and it’s back to normal. Till the next time it will suddenly freeze again. Any ideas? P.s. sorry for my bad English I hope you understand my issue.
Solution: If you have already performed a factory reset and the issue still occurs then this is most likely causes by a faulty hardware component in the phone motherboard. I recommend that you have the phone checked at a service center that specializes in board level repairs so that the exact component can be pinpointed.
S7 Edge Crashes
Problem: i have a Samsung galaxy s7 edge purchased from India and i am currently residing in London. My phone often crashes and i have to wait for the battery to completely drain out and then with power down home key and power key the phone responds with a warning message with a blue background asking for either a custom os update for just cancel option. It’s inconvenient as every time i have to wait for the battery to completely drain . I have tried all the combinations of power up, down,power key and home key but nothing works unless the battery drains and also the phone is crashing very frequently causing problems. Kindly help
Related Problem: It’s been almost 1 yr and 3 months i bought my samsung galaxy s7 edge . Was performing really well until yesterday. Suddenly when i was using one of apps it started to turn on and off 3 times and off finally . Was unable to restart my phone tried force restart too. But could do nothing . The only thing i could see was blue light . Was not charging tried a lot and at last fed up i left it . At night i think it was out of battery later as the light was off when i woke up. Then put it on charge and was on . Was happy until it happened again . So removed it from charge allowed it to discharge . Again charger connected and on . I never had such problem before. It’s a lot of money to buy the phone . Hope they will fix the problem . I just had new update few days back . It was the best phone for me until yesterday now never gonna trust samsung again . Almost had a heart attack
Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to backup your phone data then do a reset. Once the reset is complete do not install any apps in your phone yet. What you need to do is to check first if the issue still occurs. If it does then this could already be a hardware related problem possibly caused by a faulty battery. The best thing to do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
