S6 Edge+ Unable To Access Error
Problem: I factory reset my Galaxy S6 Edge+ (SM-G928A) without logging out of my accounts first. When I turn my phone on, it doesn’t offer me to enter my google account password…it instead gives me an error when I try to connect to wifi: “unable-to-access-web-browser-for-wi-fi-sign-in-due-to-an-unauthorized-factory-reset”. I’ve looked up the problem on various forums, however I’m rather inexperienced and do not want to accidentally brick my phone. Do you know of any solution? I am on the same wifi network that I factory reset the phone.
Solution: The best way to proceed in this case is to start the phone in recovery mode then from here wipe the cache partition of the phone before doing a factory reset again. Once the phone starts it will prompt you to enter your Google account details before you will be able to set up the phone.
S6 Edge+ Custom Binary Blocked By FRP Error
Problem: hi so my phone was bought on offer up over about a year and a half ago and I haven’t had a problem with it ever. Today my phone turned off and I tried to turn it on and it says custom binary blocked by FRP and I looked everywhere how to unlock it but nothing works. I cant reset it by deleting everything because it don’t let me it wont turn on or charge it passes to downloading but nothing will happen for hour nothing at all
Solution: If the phone is running on its stock firmware and this issue occurs then it could just be caused by some software glitch. Try performing a simulated battery pull first by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds. Your phone should restart after this. If the error message still appears then I suggest that you start the phone in recovery mode then from here do a factory reset. Take note that the reset will erase your phone data.
If the issue persists then you will have to consider manually flashing your phone with a stock firmware file using Odin. You can get this file as well as the instructions on how to flash your phone at the Sammobile website.
S6 Edge+ Not Detected By Computer Not Charging
Problem: My phone is acting kinda strange lately. A couple of weeks ago all of sudden it stopped loading when connected to wall charger. Interestingly the wireless loading still worked. But also when connecting the device to a computer via USB the device wasn’t recognized by the computer or charging. But then all of sudden the device started working again normally. A couple of days later everything started all over again. Device not charging, not recognized when connected to a computer, but this time even wireless charging won’t work. So I ordered a new USB connector board and a new battery and replaced both. But still the phone didn’t load and wasn’t able to connect via USB. The new battery was about 50% charged, so I backed up all my data and tried everything (wipe cache partition, factory reset) to get it working again. But still no luck. But for some reason all of sudden it started working again. For several days I charged my phone overnight and everything worked fine. But then again, after a couple of days it stopped working yesterday.I tried doing all of of your instructions towards others but it still refuses to work. I really do not want to go to the shop and they to tell me i need to pay for fixing it. Kindly help me, thank you
Solution: It’s very likely that the problem is caused by an internal component ( possibly the power IC) that is failing to work properly. The best way to proceed in this case is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
