Huawei P9 Charges On And Off
Problem: Hi there I have a huawei p9 , and when i put my phone on charge it charges and yet it doesn’t, the screen flickers on and you see the logo but then it black screens again, pressing the power button doesnt work, it just will not turn on, it wont reboot or whatever when I hold down the power button and either up or down on the volume button (I timed and held it for ten seconds then just to be sure, then 8 then 11) it just stays blank, the charger cord is fine, no bumps or nothing, and the adapter is also original, any help would be extremely appreciated
Solution: The first thing that you will want to do in this case is to clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air as dirt or debris stuck in the port could be preventing the phone from being charged. Once this is done try charging the phone for at least 20 minutes with its wall charger. In case the problem persists then try using a different charging cord and wall charger. You should also check if the phone can charge from a computer USB port. Once the phone charges check if it can turn on.
In case the issue persists then this could be caused by either of the following component that is not working properly.
- Charging port
- Power IC
The best thing to do in this case is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
Huawei P9 Does Not Charge
Problem: I have Huawei P9 and it neglects to charge but it does respond when inject it to Personal Computer and it displays every information on Device but cant charge even when I’m not trying to charge it with P.C. And also when it switches on after after some time it says its in Huawei eRecovery and it request me to download firmware packages also when I try to download them it gives the message back saying “Getting package info failed”Need help please anyone with some idea please help……
Related Problem: 2 days ago my phone died and it seems to not want to turn on, charging it doesn’t show signs and when i try to turn it on I get some green lines and I’m not sure if it’s because the battery fully died and just needs to be left charging or what the problem is really.
Solution: For this particular problem you should follow the same troubleshooting steps as the one I have listed above. When the phone charges and turns on I suggest that you backup your phone data then do a factory reset.
If the issue persists then this is most likely a hardware related problem already in which case you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
Huawei P9 Keeps Turning Off Even If Charged
Problem: I have a P9 and it has recently started to keep turning off it will be fully charged and be like between 70_100% and turn off and wont turn on till i put it on charge and will charge and say its 0% it always does that especially if i have 70% and talking on the phone it will just turn off im scared i will lose everything because it wont give me time to backup everything unless on charge can you please help
Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to check if the problem is caused by some glitch in the phone software by following the steps listed below.
- Remove the microSD card of the phone if you have one installed.
- Backup your phone data preferably by using the Huawei HiSuite software on your computer.
- Perform a factory reset.
Once the reset is complete do not install any apps in your phone or restore your phone data yet. You should first check if the issue still occurs. If it does then this could already be a hardware related problem in which case you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
