S6 Edge+ Not Updating To Latest Software Version
Problem: my phone is stuck in the lollipop 5.1.1 and everytime i request for software updates it will say that my software is up to date while clearly this is an outdated version
Solution: There are several reasons why your phone is not getting the software updates. The phone might be rooted or running on a custom software. If you are using an unlocked phone the this could also be the reason.
To get the latest software update try connecting your phone to a computer with Smart Switch installed then check if an update is available.
If no update is available then you should consider manually flashing the updated firmware file using Odin. You can get the firmware file of your phone from the Sammobile website which is also where you can get the instructions on how to flash your phone.
S6 Edge+ Battery Drains Quickly
Problem: Hi I have had my Samsung galaxy s6 edge plus for 2 years and had no problems but the last few weeks I’ve been having problems with the battery charge not lasting it goes from 60-70% to 1% or dead overnight and have seen it go from 30% to 15% then 5% in the space of a minute.
Solution: What you will want to do right now is to check if the issue is caused by a software glitch by doing a factory reset. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset. Once the reset is complete do not install any apps in your phone yet. Try checking first if the battery still drains quickly. If it does then your phone battery might already be faulty in which case you will need to bring the phone to a service center and the battery replaced.

S6 Edge+ Not Connecting To Home Wi-Fi
Problem: I have an Samsung S6 Edge+ and a couple of days ago it just dropped all internet service at my house. It says I’m connected to my WiFi but that I don’t have internet . Once I leave my house, my phone connects to WiFi anywhere else but drops it once I return home. Only my phone is having a problem. Both my husband and my son,who have Iphones, and our home computer are not having any problem. I have rebooted my router multiple times, been to ATT where they say it’s not my device because it connects to the Wifi in their store. I have called my internet provider and it’s not a problem with them, since other family members are not having an issue. I have also called my Router company but again it’s not the router as family can connect without an issue. I also have tried taking out my Sim card and waiting 10 mins before putting it back in. Still no luck. In order to use the Internet, I have to take my Wifi off, which uses up my data plan. Any ideas?
Solution: You should try forgetting your home Wi-Fi network from your phone then connect to it again. If this doesn’t fix the problem then I recommend that you backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete you should be able to connect to your home wi-Fi network.
S6 Edge+ Freezes While On A Call
Problem: My BIG problem is that since started using this Phone, its always Hangs Down itself while talking to someone. Solution: To fix this problem you should first check if an app you downloaded is causing the problem by starting the phone in Safe Mode. If the issue does not occur in this mode then it is most likely caused by an app in which case you will need to find out what app this is and uninstall it.
In case the issue still occurs in Safe Mode then you should consider doing a factory reset. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset.
