Related Problem: My Nexus 6p randomly restarted in the morning and has been stuck on the google screen. Reading the information on your website I have wiped the data and trying to restart it. It continues to be stuck on the google screen. What do you think is the problem and solution?

Related Problem: While I was using Facebook app and in mid my phone automatically got shut down and when i restarted again only google was coming on screen and again it was restarting. As I also tried holding power and down volume button to reboot but anything I was choosing it was again restarting and showing google sign and even I was unable to recover anything. Can you help me in restoring the phone . Thankyou.

Related Problem: I have a Nexus 6p. A few days ago it randomly restarted itself. Now today it turned itself off and it keeps restarting. Except it’s not a full restart. The only thing that shows up is “Google” the big white letters with the black screen that always comes on on restart. It will display google for a few seconds, go black for about 2 seconds then display Google again. Constantly…back to back to back. PLEASE HELP!!!

Related Problem: phone stays in google cycle tried everything  this happen while up dating your program took it to a repair shop nothing could be done said it was program up grade problem, battery was fine,50 dollars later and no phone lost all data too i really think you make amends like get me a replacement phone this a nexus 6 p phone [huawei]

Solution: The best way to fix this problem right now is to start the phone in recovery mode then from here perform a factory reset. Take note that this will delete your phone data.

  • Hold the power key for a short while to turn off your device.
  • Press and hold the Volume Down + Power button simultaneously for a few seconds.
  • Press Volume Down to select option “Recovery”, and press Power button to confirm.
  • As soon as the Android Image shows up on the screen hold down the Power key for a couple of seconds.
  • While you holding the Power button quickly press the Volume Up key.
  • Press Volume Down to choose “wipe data/factory reset”, and then push the Power key to confirm.
  • Select “Yes–delete all user data”. Use Volume Down button to scroll and Power key to select.
  • Select “reboot system now”.

If the issue still persists after this then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

Nexus 6P Can No Longer Receive Calls

Problem: I can no longer receive calls. The phone was working perfectly now no one can call in..I can call out and receive texts with no problem . I have another phone registered to the network and it all of a sudden couldn’t get a call to connect or send a text. After restarting, removing battery and sim..the messages came in maybe 10 minutes later but still no calls. I was playing a game and kept seeing the message “resetting sim ” pop up. Also while talking to customer service from this phone, I was put on hold to be called on the phone that could not dial in to me..when connected, she asked me to hang up the main phone and both phones were disconnected when I hung up the main line. Please help..

Solution: The first thing that you need to do in this particular case is to restart the phone as sometimes a quick restart will fix this problem. Once the phone has fully restarted check if it is getting a good network signal and if it is check if the issue still occurs.

In case the problem persists then I recommend that you backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete do not install any apps in your phone yet. Try to check first if the problem still occurs. If it does then try placing another SIM card in the phone. This will allow you to check if the problem is caused by the SIM card.

If the above steps fails to fix the problem then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

Nexus 6P Not Starting After Getting Wet

Problem: I have bought Nexus 6P  some 5 months ago, and it was doing pretty well until yesterday, my 4 years daughter put mobile under tap water, and after 1 hour my mobile showing message of Overheating and then automatically shuts down, and also mobile is not charging as same message appears on screen, when i open any app, it close after few seconds. Please suggest me any solution.

Solution: Since this model does not have any waterproofing feature then it’s very likely that water has entered the device. What you should do right now is to turn off the phone then remove the SIM card. Place the phone in a bag of rice for at least 48 hours. Once this is done try checking if the issue still occurs. If it does then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked as this could already be caused by a water damaged component.

Nexus 6P Screen Not Working After Drop

Problem: Phone was thrown by toddler, and now the screen won’t work. Every couple seconds, the screen flashes a couple white bands across it, but then goes black again. My father has taken the screen off and is looking for loose bits, as he has fixed phones before, but can’t find what’s wrong.

Solution:  It looks like the display assembly or some other internal component has already been damaged by the drop. The best thing to do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

Nexus 6P Not Working On AT&T

Problem: Nexus 6P unlocked, unbranded Bought from Google brand new in USA Works with all sim cards i have tried: Swisscom, t mobile germany, vodafone portugal, Rostelecom Russia, T Mobile USA, With ATT recognizes carrier But cannot send or receive calls Even to dial help 611, ends with no mobile network Does ATT have a conspiracy to disallow certain models, brands? I tried with 3 different ATT cards from ATT I did even read in ATT forum that this phone used to work. You have some information?

Solution: The Nexus 6P should be able to work on the AT&T network. Try contacting the carrier and check if the phone has been properly provisioned on their system. You can also try getting a prepaid AT&T SIM card and check if the issue still occurs.
