S6 Edge Charger Needs To Be Unplugged Then Plugged
Problem: Hi, I have a Galaxy S6 edge that has been having a few charging issues. I currently owned a charger that i would have to bend in order for the phone to charge. This charger stopped working last night so i had to find a new one. None of the chargers which i used worked so my phone died. The next morning i bought a new charger and plugged in my phone but it happen to not charge. After unplugging it and plugging it back in a few times it charged just fine. Whenever i unplugged it and plugged it in again it stopped working again. So there was times it would allow me to charge it and times it wouldn’t. Well now my phone is dead and whenever i plug it in with the new charger (I have tried other chargers that work) the phone turns on with a battery logo screen and gets stuck there. there is no battery percentage or red led light. Just a charging battery logo. After letting the power button pressed, a white purpleish led color appears and the phone runs up good but since it has not charged, it dies instantly again. I have tried safe mode and master reset but nothing seems to work i just keep getting stuck in the same charging battery screen. Also the night before i started having issues my screen would glitch and turn all black then a Samsung VR Gear opened up to start an account.
Solution: There’s a possibility that this issue is caused by a problem with the charging port. You should try cleaning this charging port first using a can of compressed air. Make sure that any dirt or debris stuck in this port is removed. Once this is done try charging the phone again. Try using different charging cords and wall chargers to charge the phone. In case the issue persists then you need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked. It is very likely that you will need to have the charging port replaced.
