J3 Unfortunately The Process.Com.Android Has Stopped
Problem: I receive an alert message that says “Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped” about every two seconds, and it does not allow me to do anything with my phone. As soon as I press “OK”, the alert message pops up again in 1-2 seconds. I have looked up blogs and ways to fix this error message, but because the error keeps coming up, I have not had any luck fixing this issue.
Solution: The best way to fix this problem is to first wipe the cache partition of the phone from the recovery mode. In case the issue still persist after this then you will have to backup your phone data then do a factory reset.
J3 Keeps On Disconnecting From Bluetooth Earpiece
Problem: Galaxy J3 constantly disconnects then reconnects to bluetooth regardless of proximity of phone to bluetooth earpiece. The failure to maintain connection is consistent using various bluetooth devices. The tested bluetooth devices all work well with other bluetooth sources. The problem appears to be with the Galaxy J3.
Solution: Try starting the phone then check if the problem occurs in this mode. If it doesn’t then it’s possible that this is caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it. In case the issue still occurs even in this mode then I recommend that you backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete do not install any apps in your phone yet. Try to check first if the issue persists. If it does then this is already a hardware related problem in which case you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
J3 Touchscreen Is Unresponsive
Problem: Hi there I recently sent my samsung galaxy J3 back to the shop i bought it for repair under warranty as the screen was misbehaving. They turned down my warranty claim and said the issue was due to impact damage from being dropped. This is quite likely as it has been dropped a few times, but the screen has not broken or got scratched. So what actually happens is that the touchscreen is sometimes unresponsive and sometimes goes crazy and starts opening apps and sending texts and all sorts of stuff when i’m not touching it, just when it’s in my pocket etc. It kind of goes into a bit of a frenzy. I have done all the usual battery removal, factory reset etc and is still the same. The shop i got it from said it needs a new bezel and new LCD. I’m trying to figure out, on Amazon or ebay, which parts these are! I have done some screen replacements on phones before using youtube and comfortable with giving it a crack (no pun intended) on this one as it’s not worth paying to have repaired. From hunting on amazon seems i need a new middle housing (I think that’s what it’s called) but i’m unclear how i buy the touchscreen/why it needs replacing? I thought if you could maybe explain how this all works, i might be able to figure out which parts to order and what to search on youtube.
Solution: It looks like this problem is caused by a faulty display assembly ( possibly the digitizer is also damaged). Just order the correct display assembly for your phone then use this on your phone.
J3 Lagging And Restarting
Problem: A few months ago my phone started lagging and restarting by itself. I first thought it might be because of a virus or a lack of space on my phone I installed clean master and I started to clean my phone and check for viruses every single day. I am still sitting with the same problem and it is actually worse now cause my phone restarts more often now than ever. This has been going on for about 5 months.
Related Problem: My phone is having many issues and I don’t know how to fix it. It shuts off on it’s own, crashes, gives me multiple “mmc_read” errors. Just yesterday it shut off and stopped working completely, I can’t power even power it on. It’s useless now, it can’t do anything, I can’t charge it or do anything. I also can’t get a new phone because my parents can’t afford to buy another one.
Solution: If your phone has a microSD card installed then try removing this as this might be what’s causing the problem. In case your phone does not have a microSD card of if the issue still occurs even when the card is removed then proceed with the troubleshooting steps listed below.
- Start the phone in Safe Mode. Does the issue occurs in this mode? If it doesn’t then it could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
- Wipe the cache partition of your phone from the recovery mode.
- Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.
J3 Stuck In Boot Loop
Problem: It seems to be stuck in a loop. I do the software update on it, and after the phone turns back on after the update, it at first days is up to date then says checking for updates. And it keeps doing it over and over. I even did a shift reset and a factory reset and it does the same thing.
Solution: Since a factory reset fails to fix the problem then the best thing to do right now is to manually flash the phone with its updated firmware file using Odin. You can get the firmware file of your phone from the Sammobile website which is also where you can get the instructions on how to flash your phone. In case this doesn’t fix the problem then this could already be caused by a faulty hardware component. The best thing that you can do in this scenario is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
J3 Camera Has Orange Effect
Problem: I just bought a phone and when i first turn on the camera the camera is like an orange effect and then it goes away when i take first photo . Is there anyway i can change this so it’s just clear? Also when i use instagram to take photos when the photo is took the screen goes green and won’t change and the photo is saved like that. But other camera effects on instagram such as boomerang and videos are okay? Is there anything that can be done for that
Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to check if an app you installed is causing the problem by starting the phone in Safe Mode. If the issue does not occur in this mode then it is most likely caused by an app. Find out what app this is and uninstall it. If the issue still occurs in Safe Mode then proceed with the troubleshooting steps listed below.
- Clear the cache and data of the camera app.
- Wipe the cache partition of the phone from the recovery mode.
- Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.
If after performing the steps listed above the issue still persists then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
