A3 Stuck In Samsung Logo
Problem: Hi guys! I have Samsung A3 2017, i reboot it because i had a wi-fi issue and the it stucked on the logo screen for hours! I read your article and tried everything you suggested and it still doesn’t open and remain stuck! What else can i do? Please help me i can’t stay without my phone!
Solution: If your phone is stuck in the boot logo then there are several troubleshooting steps that you need to perform in order to fix the problem. We have listed these steps below.
- Check if the phone can be started in Safe Mode. If you are able to access this mode then the problem is most likely caused by an app. Backup your phone data first then find out what app is causing the problem.
- Try performing a simulated battery pull by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds. Your phone should restart after this.
- Try wiping the cache partition of the phone from the recovery mode.
- Start the phone in recovery mode then do a factory reset.
In case the above steps fails to fix the problem then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked as this could already be a hardware related problem.
A3 Randomly Reboots
Problem: Hi, I contact you about my Samsung A3 2017 which reboot at least one per day, alone, without using it. I tried your troubleshoot guide with safe mode but reboot appears after 8 hours. My phone is not warm when reboot appears. I did not try hard reset because I made it a few days ago. A few days, a new firmware from Samsung came but with the previous one, it was the same thing. Perhaps this behavior came from a try to root this phone, a try which was unsuccessful (camera was off, many functionalities were off) but I made a full stock rom restore and after that, the phone functionalities were all ok. One strange thing is that sometimes, when I ask for manual update check (by setup menus), phone reboot, sometimes, it says that last update is ok. My current firmware is A320FXXU2BQH5/A320FOJV2BQH1/A320FXXU2BQG4. I don’t know what to do and if it’s hardware failure. Ideas !? Thanks.
Solution: Does your phone have a microSD card installed? If it does then try removing this card as this could be causing the problem. In case the issue still persists after this then this could be caused by the unsuccessful rooting of the phone. Listed below are the troubleshooting steps that you need to perform to fix the problem.
- Wipe the cache partition of the phone from the recovery mode.
- Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.
- Download an updated firmware version of your phone then flash your device with it.
A3 Takes Too Long To Charge After Software Update
Problem: Recently the OS of my samsung a3 was updated to lollipop and since then I have been having battery charging problems. Firstly it takes longer to change and even when it does the changing does not go beyond 87% (using the samsung charger). Even stranger is the fact that when i charge it through a PC usb port the changing starts declining after it reaches 87% even though the phone is still plugged in. Mind you the phone is on but is not used during charging. I would appreciate your input.
Solution: The first thing that you will want to do in this case is to make sure that the charging port of the phone is free from any signs of dust or debris. Clean this port using a can of compressed air. Once this is done try charging the phone again but this time use a different charging cord and wall charger. Does the issue still occur? If it does then the next step is to check if a software glitch is causing the problem. You will have to backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete try to check if the issue still occurs. If it does then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
A3 Text Message Disappeared In The Middle Of Writing
Problem: 1) A long text I was in the middle of writing, just left or disappeared off the screen, so I thought it had been sent already by mistake before it was finished. Well, I still don’t know if it was, or even where it went to? Because it isn’t showing in the drafts or even on the screen as part of the text trail? 2) In that same message, (and not on any others) the texting sequence, dates and times, are out of order, and even missing an entire day of texts to this person?
Solution: This problem is most likely caused by a glitch in the messaging app. What you will want to do is to clear the cache and data of the messaging app from the application manager. Once this is done the issue should be fixed.
A3 Not Turning On After Software Update
Problem: I’m not sure on all the lingo & some of the questions here seem familiar: I bought a new unlocked Samsung Galaxy S5, said it was an AT&T/ T-Mobile. I switched my sim card & it worked well for a couple months w/ my same T-Mobile plan. Today a message popped up saying it needed a “Samsung software update” & something about protecting it and recognizing serial #’s so I accepted the update and the phone shut off. I turned it on again and it shut right off. Battery is fully charged. I took out Sim card then turned cell on & Internet is working. I placed Sim back into my old phone and it works fine calling/texting… is OK. I called T-Mobile they said do factory reset but it would probably lock me out back to the original AT&T and then it could not be used. They gave me step by step instructions & said to save my pics or lose them.. so is there a way to fix this problem and not have the phone be locked to Its original carrier? i bought this cell brand new from a different online company. . Please help in simple language. And thank you for your service here!
Solution: If this is an unlocked phone then you won’t lose the unlock status if you perform a factory reset. If you can backup your phone data then I suggest that you do it. Once this is done start the phone in recovery mode then perform a factory reset.
