S6 Edge Not Turning On After Flashing ROM
Problem: I have recently flashed a ROM but my phone did not turn on i went back into TWRP recovery and i factory reset it but when i went to reboot my phone it said there is no OS installed I then tried unbricking my phone with samsung kies but it did not work any help?
Solution: Right now you will need to reinstall the software of your phone as it looks like it has been corrupted. Try flashing an updated stock firmware file to your phone using Odin. You can download the firmware file from the Sammobile website. You will also find the instructions on how to flash your phone from this website.
S6 Edge Not Turning On After Software Update
Problem: My samsung s6 edge had a software update and will not turn on, I tried your turn on in recovery mode and after the android sign I get a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark and a no command . Please help
Solution: It looks like the update might have corrupted the phone software. What you should do in this case is to perform a simulated battery pull first by pressing and holding both the power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds. Normally, your phone will restart after this procedure. If the issue still persists and still occurs in recovery mode then you will have to flash your phone with its updated stock firmware file using Odin . Get the file from the Sammobile website where you can also get instructions on how to flash your phone.
S6 Edge Not Turning On After Interrupted Rooting
Problem: Hey. I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. I was rooting it. During the middle of it, It cut off and now wont cut back on. I’ve tried to do everything possible. If you could send me a link to download a new firmware it would be great.
Solution: Since the rooting procedure was interrupted then it is very likely that your phone software has been corrupted. The best way to fix this is to flash the stock firmware file back to your phone using Odin. You can get this file from the Sammobile website where you will also get the instructions on how to properly flash your phone.
S6 Edge Shuts Off Unless Plugged To Charger
Problem: I’m on vacation in Aruba. And my phone (samsung s6 edge) automatically completely shuts down. When trying to turn it on it goes to the “samsung galaxy” startup but stays off unless i plug it into a charger (and shows a full percentage on battery). It then immediately shuts down the moment i take the charger out again. (i have it for a little less than a year)
Solution: There are two possible factors that can cause this problem. This issue can either be caused by a faulty battery or malfunctioning power IC. Both cases require the phone to be opened and checked by a technician.
Before bringing your phone to a service center for checking I recommend that you perform the following troubleshooting steps listed below to check if the issue is software related.
- Connect your phone to its charger.
- Start the phone in recovery mode. If you are able to access this mode then you should do a factory reset from here. Take note that the reset will erase your phone data.
If the above steps fails to fix the problem then you should bring your phone to a service center and have it checked.
Problem: S6 edge Phone was fine and working and I started playing music then turned the screen off and screen started glitching. Top of the screen started blinking green and white, then I tried to turn the screen back on and it turned on except it didn’t show the actual screen. Just started blinking white and green.
Solution: The first thing that you should do in this particular issue is to check if an app you installed is causing the problem. To do this you have to start the phone in Safe Mode. When the phone is operating in this mode only the pre-installed apps are allowed to run while apps you downloaded are prevented from running. If the issue does not occur in this mode then it could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
If the problem still occurs in Safe Mode then I suggest that you start your phone in recovery mode then from here do a factory reset. Take note that the reset will erase your phone data.
If the above steps fails to fix the problem then you should bring your phone to a service center and have it checked as this could already be caused by a damaged display.
S6 Edge Half Of Screen Not Working Due To Crack
Problem: Hope you are well. I am writing because the top half of the screen of my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is working after it cracked. Now, before sending it to the insurance company, I am trying to backup the device. I have a Mac and when using KIES it prompts me to use Smart Switch but when using that – after unlocking the device through Find my Mobile – the (damn *sorry*) thing asks me to allow the computer the access by pressing Allow on the phone, but how can I when the Allow tab is on the bottom half?!
Solution: Unfortunately you won’t be able to tap on the allow tab unless you have the display assembly repaired. While your phone data will stay safe when the display is replaced you should also just mention to the technician that you have not made a backup of your phone data yet.
