S7 Edge Gets Stuck In Boot Loop
Problem: My son rooted his phone, installed the open framework, now it is stuck in a boot loop at the “ATT” logo. We have followed the steps your site indicated by wiping the cache partition and wipe data/factory reset. When rebooting it still gets stuck in loop. Any suggestions?
Related Problem: Samsung s7 edge is stuck on Samsung booting it displays the logo for about 10 or so seconds then goes black and vibrates then does it again. Phone won’t turn off. The phone was on charge and this was not a user issue..
Solution: It looks like the phone software got corrupted during the rooting process. If a factory reset fails to fix the problem then you should consider manually flashing the updated firmware file of this device. You can download the firmware from the Sammobile website which also provides detailed instructions on how to flash the phone.
S7 Edge Bricked After Flashing Custom ROM
Problem: I was trying to install a custom OS on my SM-G935V through Verizon and think that I bricked my phone. All that it will do now is make it to the Verizon logo, like its loading and it vibrates off and on. I can load it up into Odin download mode and manage to flash the Samsung_G935x_QC_Rooted_BOOT.tar file then I’m lost after that. I had my phone rooted then I tried to flash a custom .zip file for a custom OS and now it wont boot at all. Any suggestions? I can send screenshots…
Solution: I recommend that you flash the stock firmware file back to your phone. Download the firmware file from the Sammobile and make sure to use the latest version of Odin when flashing your phone.
S7 Edge Keeps Freezing Randomly
Problem: Hi there I have galaxy s7 edge two weeks ago. Unfortunately it keeps freezing randomly and this happens even without using the device. It always freezes on the screen saver and becomes unresponsive. I took it back to the store. They have done (software upgrade) as they said and they put the device on notice for 2 days, then they say it is ok. After i collected it from the store I factory reset it and after one hour it freezed again!
Solution: Does your phone have a microSD card installed? If it has then try removing this as this might be causing the problem. If the issue still persists and since you have already performed a factory reset then this could already be a hardware related problem. I recommend that you have this checked at a service center.
S7 Edge Crashes And Resets
Problem: A few weeks ago my Samsung s7 edge started crashing and resetting. I got the phone 1st October 2016. I didn’t have a problem with it until three weeks ago. A couple of days ago it got stuck in a boot loop for around 20-30 minutes. Tonight it has crashed/reset itself 3 times. I held Down, power button and the home button. It brought up something about changing the OS. So I hit reset instead of changing the OS and it seems to be working now.
Solution: Since your phone is working fine right now just observe it and check if the issue still occurs. If it does then you should try performing a factory reset as the problem could be caused by a software glitch. Take note that you have to backup your phone data before doing the reset.
S7 Edge Not Loading Outlook Messages
Problem: Hello, My Galaxy S7 edge all of a sudden stopped loading my outlook messages. I get the notifications that I have new emails, but when I click on the notifications it doesn’t show any new messages. I went on the PC and they are there. I haven’t changed anything in the settings so I am not sure why this just recently happened.
Solution: This could be caused by a glitch in the Outlook app of your phone. You will need to clear the cache and data of this app from the recovery mode. Make sure to take a note of your account settings as this has to be entered again one you have cleared the cache and data of the app.
S7 Edge S Health Notifications Keeps Popping Up
Problem: At first the S Health app kept popping up while completing any other task, asking me to start program/setup. Decided to just start/setup the app, now my phone constantly beeps in the background of any tasks. The beeping sound is usually two tone and will go a couple of times before eventually stopping. Phone is an S7 Edge. Why is this happening and how can it be stopped?
Solution: To disable the notifications of the S Health app follow the steps listed below.
- Open the S Health app
- Tap on “more” located on the top right side of the app
- Tap on “settings”.
- Look at the submenu of settings. There will be an option of “Notification”.
- Tap on the master switch on top to turn it off
- Your S Health Notification is now disabled.
