Oppo to reach the U.S. markets by the end of 2016

Oppo R9

Chinese manufacturer #Oppo has reportedly planned to foray into the American market by the end of 2016. This means we can see an announcement coming through by the next few weeks. Oppo follows hot on the heels of LeEco which recently marked its official entry to the U.S. Oppo is seemingly looking to bring performance oriented camera phones to the market, which has been its key strength in the Asian markets as well.

Since we only have preliminary word from a news outlet, there’s still no information on what devices the company plans to bring to the market. But we expect the company to leave no stone unturned to make its American venture a big success. Oppo is known for its feature rich budget offerings, so we should see some decent handsets for the American consumers. Do you welcome the addition of a new Chinese player in the American smartphone segment?
