As rumors had predicted, #Samsung has just released yet another flip-phone based on #Android, known as the #W2017. However, the phone has only been unveiled for the Chinese markets, with no word on whether or when it will be sold elsewhere. But going by history, we don’t see this device making its way out of the region anytime soon (or ever).
Flip-phones are coming back into fashion now, especially in the Asian markets. This is why the company plans to address the demand for such a device head-on with this power packed offering. The W2017, as it is known, will feature two 4.2-inch 1080p displays (on the front and back respectively), a 12-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera, 64GB of expandable storage, 4GB of RAM, the quad-core Snapdragon 820 SoC, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and a 2,300 mAh battery.
Although the pricing hasn’t been confirmed yet, it is being said that the phone will be priced at nearly 20,000 CNY ($2950), making it quite an expensive handset. Would you fancy getting one of these?
