Samsung sending a new Galaxy Note 7 update which limits battery percentage to 60%

Galaxy Note 7

The #Samsung #GalaxyNote7 on T-Mobile will start receiving a new update with the build number N930TUVU2APK1, which will effectively reduce the battery percentage to 60%. It will also change the battery indicator to gray, thus telling users that the device is not meant to be used. The problem for Samsung is that there are still plenty out there who are using the handset even though the recall was originally announced sometime last month.

This new update will also send repeated pop-up notifications urging users to return the handset as quickly as possible. It’s good to see that the company is doing everything possible to persuade users to return the handset. It’s not known as to how many Note 7 units are still out there in the wild, but Samsung surely won’t rest until every single one of them is accounted for.
