The #OnePlus3T has finally gone live, just as we expected. The smartphone comes with a fairly impressive hardware specs sheet, and is an upgrade in technically every aspect over the OnePlus 3. Luckily, OnePlus has managed to use the same display, despite reports of the company facing shortages of AMOLED panels. In essence, the OnePlus 3T is basically a powerful variant of the OnePlus 3.
So what’s new underneath? Well, you will see a new 16-megapixel front camera, up from 8-megapixel. There’s a new Snapdragon 821 chipset on board as well, an upgrade from the Snapdragon 820. OnePlus has also added a new 128GB variant this time around, giving users the option to play around with more storage. Lastly, the battery capacity has been bumped to 3,400 mAh.
The rest of the hardware specs is as follows:
- 5.5-inch 1080p Optic AMOLED display
- 6GB of RAM
- 64/128GB of non-expandable storage
- 16-megapixel rear camera
- Android 6.0 Marshmallow (upgradable to Nougat)
- 3,400 mAh battery
The OnePlus 3T will be available in the U.S. starting November 22 for $439.
