Samsung offering up to $100 in credit if you exchange the Galaxy Note 7 for another Samsung phone

Galaxy Note 7The #Samsung #GalaxyNote7 has been recalled twice now with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (USCPSC) making it official yet again. Samsung has already urged device owners to stop using the handset, but word from the authorities indicates that things are official now.

As a show of gratitude, Samsung is offering $100 in credit to customers who purchase another Samsung device. This is a good gesture by Samsung, and might prove to be the healing touch towards the faltering faith in the company. If you’re looking to get a phone from another company after returning the Galaxy Note 7, you will still be eligible for the $25 credit from the company.

Several reports have confirmed that third-party retailers are refunding the money that users paid towards accessories. This apparently applies even if it’s beyond the usual 30-day refund window. So it seems like Samsung has covered all its bases with regards to the Galaxy Note 7. The whole ordeal is expected to cost Samsung nearly $3 billion, which can be damaging for any company.
