Prisma brings offline filters to Android

Prisma Android

The #Prisma app for #Android is getting a major update which gets rid of one of the major pain points for the users. Thanks to this new update, users will be able to access the app and its filters without requiring an internet connection. This feature has been teased for quite a while now, but has only now started to make its way to the Android version of the app. This also means that you will not see those annoying server overload errors as the editing will happen directly on your phone.

Prisma uses clever AI algorithms to edit your photos. In order to use these tools in offline mode, you will have to download the styles beforehand. Unfortunately, there are only a limited number of filters available in offline mode, but that’s apparently going to change by the end of October. If you happen to use Prisma frequently, make sure you head over to the Google Play Store to install the latest version of the app.
