#LeEco has just released the #LePro3 smartphone in the U.S., thus making it the company’s first smartphone in the region. The handset will only cost $399 in the region plus there’s a $100 rebate that you can avail from the company’s site. So you’ll only end up paying about $299 for this high-end offering. The manufacturer has also unveiled the Le S3 with a price tag of $249, but it’s focused more on the mid-ranged market segment.
The Le Pro 3 comes with a bunch of neat features that will make it an attractive proposition for many out there. LeEco’s comprehensive content platform known as the EcoPass subscription will give you access to FanDor movies, two-years extended warranty on phones and several other perks.
The EcoPass subscription will be free for the first three months after the purchase of the Le Pro 3. There’s no word on how much the subscription will cost after the trial period ends.
The handset is packing a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 16-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front camera, the quad-core Snapdragon 821 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of non-expandable storage, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and a 4,070 mAh battery. The phone also comes with a fingerprint scanner and a USB Type-C port.
The handset will only be available in Gold initially, but a Gray version will be added soon. Initial orders will be fulfilled by November this year.
