Blue Coral variant of the Galaxy S7 edge leaks out

Samsung Galaxy S7 edge - Blue Coral

With the #GalaxyNote7 now seeing its official demise, it seems like the company already has some plans to divert attention from the public. According to a new leak, the company is looking to launch a Blue Coral version of the #GalaxyS7edge. This leak reveals the back panel of the said variant, which also includes a #Verizon logo on the back, suggesting that this might be a carrier exclusive.

The leak goes on to say that other regions and carriers will get this model shortly, but Verizon will have the first look of the model. It will be interesting to see if launching a new color variant will change things around for Samsung, although it’s unlikely to, given the bad press surrounding the company.

Reports have mentioned that the company has increased production of the Galaxy S7 models so as to accommodate for the poor showing of the Galaxy Note 7. Further, Samsung is also expected to launch the Galaxy S8 earlier than scheduled with a VR friendly 4K display, an octa-core Snapdragon 830 chipset and more.
