Sony sending out Marshmallow for the Xperia C4

Xperia C4

Sony’s selfie-centric #XperiaC4 is now getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow in select regions. Since the handset is mostly available unlocked in the U.S., we don’t think an update should be far away for users in the region. Sony is also sending out Marshmallow to the dual-SIM version of the device, so the update covers a vast area across the world. Of course, the timing of the rollout will differ based on your location, but it’s safe to say that you will have it by the weekend at least.

For those keeping note, the firmware versions will change to 27.3.A.0.122 and 27.3.B.0.122 for the single-SIM and dual-SIM versions respectively. As for the updates themselves, well, the users will be in for quite a treat as the software will be bumped to Marshmallow. You will see the usual suite of software related changes on board, which should make this a fairly attractive update for device owners.
